Hôtel du Jardin by Les Lofts Vieux-Quebec

I did not receive an email telling me how to get in the front door. Fortunately, a resident came out so I was able to get in and the desk clerk was good about sending me the email I should have received. She also explained hiw to get in the front door—I have never before needed a code to get in the front door of a hotel. The outside of the building was foreboding and the neighborhood was dark. My room was large and clean, very stark with minimalist furniture and hard surfaces everywhere, and an outlet by the bed that did not workk, but I crawled under the TV and managed to plug in a clock and my device chargers.

Clean and comfortable but missing some amenities such as no coffee or tea or shampoo. Would have been nice to have instructions on how to use the shower controls. Hallways could have better lighting as the black paint makes it really dark.

The property was excellent. Staff were very helpful.

This property is very basic. Staff will only acknowledge you if you need something, otherwise it’s a very self serve experience. The hotel is located very close to bus stop which runs from the airport, so that’s convenient.

I booked this hotel as a last minute stop, although it’s clean and relatively quiet, I would not stay here again.

The room was quite good. Two queen beds which were very comfortable. Bathroom satisfactory. Shower temperature did not get very hot. Plenty of fresh towels in cupboard. Thirty minutes walking distance to old town. Heard guest next door on wooden (squeaky) floorboards a number of times and noise/footsteps from level above a few times but overall noise was not a problem. No problems with room details to check in. Comfortable and reasonably convenient. Close to the last bus stop from the airport. I put average for staff as room is unstaffed so could not rate higher. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars.

It was ok for one night. Difficult to find ice and cold beverages. Pretty much a bed and one chair in our room.

Expected maid service. It was not pleasant come back to room with unmade bed and dirty towels.

Quietist hotel I've ever stayed in.

Athletic people can walk to and through the old town without problem.

Surrounding area has night life without tourists.

Below average experience. I don’t think I’ll stay again there.

No bathroom slippers, toothbrush & toothpaste there wasn't a lobby and their behaviour wasn't friendly

A nice stay in a convenient location.

Great stay, comfortable bed and bedding.
No parking on site, the closest parking is very walkable however since the hotel is in a busy downtown area we had to park a bit further.

The room itself is really nice but the staff were very rude and not helpful. ALSO the hotel doesn't come with water bottles... like every hotel I've been to provides at least 2 water bottles.

Great stay! Easy check-in and room was exactly as advertised! Mini-fridge was a pleasant surprise.
