The location

Cons:

The management. They gave our room to another group without checking their ID, before to realise they were not us, chasing them from the apartment and giving us the keys without any check or housekeeping done before hand. Poorly managed, no apologies from any of the two managers. A shame when you’re travelling with a baby.

So dirty! There was beard hair all over the bathroom. The apartment was generally dirty. I don't mind it being dated but it was obvious it hadn't been cleaned.

Great find, good value and comfy
Pros:

Such comfy beds! Great location, apartment was perfectly set up for our group of 4. We had ample space, all the appliances and equipment we needed and bonus was the pool. Area was relatively quiet and close to good coffee (at Goose cafe) as well as the main strip about 10-15min walk away.

Cons:

Floor got dirty easily and would have been nice to have a better broom or vac in the apartment. Also there was no mop and the washing machine leaked so we just used towels to clean the floor.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Getaway on Grafton!

A huge thank you to Trisha, Chris, and the entire team for making our family feel so welcome. Your hospitality and willingness to go above and beyond truly made our stay extra special. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and it was clear how much care you put into ensuring your guests have a fantastic experience.

The apartment was, spacious, and incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need—and so much more. The amenities were fantastic, making our stay comfortable, convenient, and relaxing from start to finish.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while visiting Cairns. We will absolutely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Getaway on Grafton to anyone looking for exceptional accommodation and outstanding service.
