Good but spoiled by breakfast staff on the first day.
Pros:

The breakfast was good but the staff could be improved. On the first morning we were not told about helping yourself to toast or juice. When delivered the food he just plonked the plates down without saying a word leaving us to sort which place was for who.

Cons:

Apart from the breakfast staff we were happy with everything else.

A lovely one night stay in a beautiful hotel, just the heat in the room was unbearable.
Pros:

A beautiful refurbishment that has enhanced all the traditional features of the hotel.
Friendly staff, great location, parking onsite.

Cons:

The bedroom was so hot. A fan was provided but it just didn’t help. The windows have limited opening due to safety features. There simply was no air in the room or corridor.

Pros:

The location and view are excellent. Room was comfortable. Nicely cooked breakfast. Restaurant staff friendly and kept calm under pressure. Like all the decor and artwork.

Cons:

Some instructions for the coffee machine would be good. Some shower gel would be nice.. No fridge in room which would be nice in hot weather. Bit of a wait for breakfast.
