Pros:

Good value, comfortable. Close to Takaoka Old Castle Park. Convenience store right across the street and a supermarket a block away.

Room was spotless. Bed was on the softer side.

I arrived on a bicycle and was able to park it overnight in the covered motorcycle/bicycle parking lot just behind the hotel

Cons:

When the AC was set to very cool (<19c), it sometimes made a clicking sound, but this seemed to resolve at higher temperatures.
