It’s okay but just okay
Pros:

The hotel is comfortable and one of the better hotels in town. The room was spacious, though it definitely needed some maintenance and renovation.

Cons:

The bathroom had a wash basin with a layer of mould at the junction between the wash basin and the top, that grew there over months. I advised the staff by mail, but they did not react, hence this review, which I would have kept private if the hotel had reacted.

We would choose to stay again at Swiss Bel Hotel Ambon.
Pros:

This property is clean, staff are very accommodating and helpful. Front desk helped us get an Ap for taxi which turned out to be a 4 hour drive to see interesting parts of Ambon & area beaches. We treated the driver to a wonderful lunch at a nice place and his fare was only $35 for the four hours. Memorable experience.

Cons:

The roof top bar, Sky Bar was lovely. While it was nice to have cocktail, they were overpriced.
