Great location, elevator queues ruined the experience overall.
Pros:

Very clean, bed super comfy, nice desk area in the room and in the lobby to work.

Cons:

The elevator takes absolute ages to come! Had to leave 15 minutes before I needed to just so I could make it out of the building in time to get to work. There were also tour busses of tourists arriving when I went to check in which made the whole check in process very complicated and stressful.

Decent choice is you are coming without car
Pros:

We stayed as a couple mid March and wanted to explore the area for a few days
Pros:
Location- only if you are using public transportation or taxi/uber. Close to major attractions, shops, bars, food and subway stops
Clean hotel
Very nice view, booked river view king room and asked for higher floor
Staff was professional, very pleasant and made us feel welcome
Luggage storage on the ground level
Sufficient breakfast that was included with our stay
Cons:
Location- if you are coming by car
Misleading info on website about self parking.
No parking on site at all, was recommended a valet parking 2 blocks away(did not used)
Absolutely no place to unload the car.
Cars parked multiple hours in front of the hotel, I.e. loading zone, and hotel does not enforce them to move.
Reception in the second floor, which doesn’t make it easier to check in when you have luggage
3 elevators , but only 2 worked most of the time
Bed is way smaller than king, I’m hardly over 5 feet, and if my head was down the pillow, then my feet stick out from the bed.
Plus some minor issues, like safety deposit lock didn’t work, iron was not heating at all, tv channels didn’t work - for those we called reception and they tried to resolve.
In conclusion, if you are coming without car, want to explore the area, it’s a decent choice due to location and cleanliness of the hotel. Make sure to leave the luggage downstairs, go up one floor for check in(stairs), then come back for your luggage and take the elevator.
Higher floors are better than middle ones, at least we could catch an empty elevator.

The right place for a comfortable stay
Pros:

I am giving this review for two main reasons-The customer service experience I had with Daniel and Maia. I felt compelled to give the review because they made me feel at home right away. From advising what options where available while we waited for our room to accessing the WiFi to handle my business calls. These may seem like small things to some but they thought of these conveniences without me asking. It shows that the embody double trees mission to proved a first class hotel experience where professionalism is a not taken for granted. This is part I part II is after my stay is over. I have no doubt Daniel and Maia and double trees in general won’t disappoint.

Great location and staff
Pros:

Great location and really friendly staff, very attentive

Cons:

The rooms were much smaller than expected even with a double twin room and the hot water kept going off. We had to run the taps at least 5mins before it got hot

I Always go to DoubleTree for the cookies but this time I was not happy with my stay
