NYC Experience
Pros:

The hotel is in an excellent location - just steps from the subway, a supermarket and Battery Park. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The room was warm, clean and comfortable, with regular housekeeping and a beautiful city view at sunrise and sunset. In-room amenities were very satisfying. Overall, we had no complaints and highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.
Before my stay, I was concerned by reviews mentioning slow elevators. However, during my visit in February, they worked fine due to the lower number of tourists. In peak seasons, they may be busier and less able to meet guests’ needs.

I liked the location and service at the property.

Cons:

The reception was not on the level 1 or ground floor. We had to take lift to 2nd floor for reception and then needed to take the lift again which is pain because lifts are small and crowded mostly during holidays season

Very friendly and accommodating staff. However will not be lodging at this location again.

Cons:

My room had to be reassigned twice, due to television and heat not working. Original room booked also had a slight odor from the air being off for a bit. This room also had visible holes in the wall for the TV cords which just seemed unsafe. Lastly, waiting for the elevator for 15 minutes was just not in my plans. Really wish I can receive some sort of refund because I’ve stayed with Hilton dozens of times but this location I will not book again. I paid for a king and ended up on a double. However I do still have my favorites. Thank you.

Good location with Subway access throughout the city.
Pros:

Located in the Financial District near Subway stations with access to many attractions. King Room was comfortable and just the right size for a solo traveler.
