I absolutely loved this hotel. My room was beyond exceptional, and the breakfast that included was a decadent feast on the roof with a stunning view of Istanbul. In the heart of old town, you can walk all over and explore while you feel safe. As a woman traveling alone, this was very important to me. Their spa Was absolutely incredible. I did my first Hamman bath and felt safe comfortable, and pampered! While I was there, I came back for many more spa treatments and just loved it!
Basic hotel in a good location - but overlooks a construction site that is full of rubbish
Staff were great! Very attentive and let us check in an hour early. Area is good for exploring. Down side was they said they had parking but they didn’t, they sent us to a shared car park which was full so it took us an hour to find somewhere which was a fair walk. Rooms are clean but very small. The lobby bar wasn’t great.
It was an okay place for the purpose of our visit. We did not stay for quiet too long. We were not able to do early check-in but that understandable. The staff was actually able to accomodate for the storage of the luggages while we were attending other activities. The place was sort of historic. As for the breakfast, we almost got charged for breakfast even though it was included with our reservation, but the staff was able to take care of itl.
Our stay here was fantastic. Definitely not long enough. We had a corner room which was wonderfully large and beautifully fit out. Staff were lovely and the breakfast buffet was delightfully tasty (and colourful too). Very close to Istiklal Avenue and the Galata Tower.
When we got to the hotel we were moved to another hotel which was very far. Istanbul is traffic really bad and that’s why I picked out hotels which would be convenient and walkable for us. They said they had electric problem on the floor that we were suppose to stay. It was very inconvenient because we had to come from Sisli to the area for all the things we wanted to do.
Fun stay at the Palazzo hotel with my family. Room was perfect and a good size, it took a while to check in and we had to wait for about 30m in the lobby. Staff were great and the location was very good. We thought the view from the window was interesting, and occasionally the hotel was quite loud. Would come again.
The staff at reception were very nice and helpful. Thank you very much. Hotel is in convenient location, close to the bus station and walkable to istiklal and galata tower.
Wonderful hotel and staff
Very good customer service
Great location close to restaurants, shopping and bars, a stylish historic hotel, huge breakfast choice and friendly staff. Super big bed, quality towels and huge shower too. Pillows variable. We felt Galata was the perfect area to be for our 4 night trip. 2 mins to underground station.
The location was good but very busy in night
Great location of the hotel in a historical building in European part of the city, walkable distance from main attractions.
We arrived from the airport by taxi 90 min before check-in time. We’ve been asked to wait until 2pm. We spent next 30 min in discussions with management and with a help of our tour guide the room was made ready for us. We received a welcome letter and fruit plate after check in, what ever it means, because one night stay in this hotel was spoiled.
The staff is friendly but does not speak English well. Our corner suite was spacious, but we did not figure out how to blind large windows. Water was leaking under the sink in the bathroom. The hotel did not offer umbrellas. We did not complain because of a language barrier.
The best part of our stay in this hotel was breakfast, but we will avoid staying in this hotel and these chain in future.
We were happy with our stay and would recommend it. If you cant afford to stay at Pera Palace across the street this is a good alternative.Thank you for everything
They charged me 2 water bottles for
160 TL. lt was extremely expensive and unacceptable. Their behave is less than normally.
Great property and very nice staff.
There was a lot of sound around hotel up morning and don't have sleep in hotel
This is an amazing experience!
If you want to feel like a guest in the palace of a king/sultan - I’d highly recommend. What a slice of amazing history. Perfectly preserved and kept by the amazing staff. Walking in through the doors feels like being teleported back in time.
Do not miss a chance to experience a stay here while you are traveling through Istanbul
The hotel and room look beautiful. It has a great terrace upstairs and a beautiful lobby for great memory pictures. The staff was very helpful. They gave us room prepared for the child.
The only problem was smoking was coming from the other room and then later it was a construction very noisy. Also, the bathroom was pretty messy. The shower did not work well.
Check-in was nice and smooth.
