Good location but subpar breakfast
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location with the train stationa and Himeji castle within walking distance. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, with the main shopping area just down the street.

Cons:

The reception staff weren't the friendliest and breakfast wasn't great (though the view from the top floor restaurants is pretty good). Some food was cold and there was no fruit. The bed was a bit too soft so when you lay on it it formed a U shape.

Good value for that price.
Pros:

Between main station and Himeji castle, reachable by foot, market street nearby, quick check-in and check-out. Small fridge in the room. Staff was friendly. Very affordable. Elegant receiption area.
