All good
Location, rooms. Price
The pool was closed, I was not notified. The selection at breakfast was cold, tasteless and the food area was not kept clean. The serving utensils should not have old food on them.
It was the perfect location for my needs
The pool and hot tub were down
This location was perfect for what we came to do. We traveled 20 mins for the farthest point, everything else was within 10 mins drive, and that's impressive for PA, because everything is usually, "down the road a piece". The breakfast had a lot of varieties to choose from, enough to satisfy most. The 24/7 coffee station was a great bonus as well. We had an issue with our room upon arrival which was quickly rectified by Sasha within the hour. New room, bigger and very quiet. We were locked out Saturday night, which we stayed until Sunday, but the Housekeeper was right there and let us in. The Front Desk quickly restored our keys. Parking was very convenient to the side entrance of the building where our room was. Sliding doors helped while we carried all of our things in. We did not use or see the pool, so we can't comment on that.
We didn't know we had to request Housekeeping Services everyday. We left the first day, came back around 7pm and our beds weren't made, or towels replenished. I called the front desk, and they informed me that it's upon request. Still our beds weren't made but one day, not the end of the world, my husband made them. We did get towels and new garbage bags.
Location is great, property is nice, manager is a horrible human being! Made a quick reservation because a family member was in hospice over at Hershey Medical but forgot to list my wife on the check in. Because (under distress of a dying family member) I forgot to change the check in from my name to my wife's, the manager would not allow her to use the reservation while I was stuck at work (even though the credit card used is in BOTH our names). I called and informed the manager of the over site error I made when setting up the reservation and that my wife's Mother was in hospice a few miles away AND that the credit card is in both our names anyway....his response was "policy won't allow her to check in without you".
I basically begged (Zach) the manager to make a change in the computer and he flat out refused to make any exceptions under this family emergency/distress we were presently going through because of "policy".
As a Hilton Honors Silver member, I later spoke to someone at the Hilton Honors HQ office and they said that they couldn't do anything from their HQ but that it was up to the location manager choice to allow any changes to the reservation. So that basically told me that Zach COULD HAVE helped us out (esp. as Silver Hilton Honors members) but refused to, even as my wife's mother laid dying in a bed a few miles away....all because of a reservation check in error that could've been fixed in 30 seconds.
This manager is a horrible human being with no compassion for anyone's family or their emergencies.
The Hilton Brand has always been good to us, until this. While I'm sure karma (or Hilton upper management) will someday find Zach, I can NOT recommending giving a dollar to this location to anyone!
The property was very close to the concert I was attending.
The floor of the room could be more updated
Clean, friendly and great location
Shower head, shampoo and conditioner
The Hilton computer system was down, and they could not get us into our room. My other party got reimbursed and we had to find another hotel. I asked how long it will take and they said they didn't know. Fast forward, talked to the front desk manager a few day later to get my money back and he said, " I wasn't there so I'm not reimbursing you". I told him that I spoke with the person that was at the front desk and they told me that the systems weren't working, and he didn't know. HIs response. "Sorry I wasn't there so I'm not giving you your money back. I told the front desk manager to go back to the video cameras and look. "Nope not giving your money back. Be careful if you book there. you'll get screwed.
The front desk manager over the phone. He obviously didn't relay the message to his team on how to handle incoming issue with the computer glitch. Poor Manager skills
The location was perfect, only 5 minutes from the park and chocolate world. The pool was nice but a little cold and the breakfast and staff was amazing.
The pool was a little cold for me personally but my kids still had fun and the shower water pressure was somewhat low.
I liked that it was very clean! Thank you to the staff for being so friendly and accommodating it made for a really pleasant stay!

Nothing, it was great
Breakfast was great, hot and inviting. Room was clean and warm on a very cold and rainy day and night. Very nice accommodations and close to the hockey rink!! Parking was easy and I felt secure traveling alone.
