Pros:

Washer and dryer. Easy to use.
Comfortable beds and apartment when with a group.
Good size fridge for a group.
Walking distance to beach for free Penguin viewing.

Cons:

Need somewhere to refill drink bottles in the apartment with filtered water, not just tap water. Pool was not inviting. Would be excellent to have a pass to the nearby sea pool and gym. Only discovered this towards the end of our stay.

Good location, but the overall experience was negative
Pros:

The location of St Kilda Bayside was great, but unfortunately our overall stay was quite disappointing.

Cons:

Our room wasn’t serviced for 3 out of the 4 days we were there. We were told this was because it fell on a Sunday and a public holiday, and they would need to pay staff penalty rates but for the price of the accommodation, we expected housekeeping to be provided regardless.
“We were advised the pool couldn’t be used after reception closed, despite it being one of the main reasons we chose this property, so it was frustrating that we had to challenge this On top of that, there was construction happening during our stay, and both the patio and the rooms were noticeably dirty.
With a few improvements to cleanliness, communication, and guest facilities, this place could be much better but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations this time.

Heel ruim appartement met een heerlijk bed.

Cons:

Er was niks wat niet beviel. Sanitair en keuken zijn wel erg verouderd volgens wat in Europa tegenwoordig standaard is. Maar alles deed het en de douche was heerlijk.

Grubby, broken door handle on bedroom door. Dripping shower. No ventilation in Laundry for the dryer even though a sign stated to turn on fan? (Was no fan) K. Mattress on Q size base. No room servicing weekends/public holiday. Pool too far away-walk through car park & smelly bins to find it, no signage. Pool water not heated. Reception staff on weekends not trained enough, gave out wrong & false information. We felt we were left alone with no support. Still waiting on a ph call from owner for a full refund!!
Renovations next door meant you overlooked all the scaffolding, no privacy.
Not good. ☹️

Bad communication
Pros:

Good location and apartment was great for the family. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom fine but could do with an upgrade.

Cons:

Booked this hotel as it had a pool for the kids for final days of school holidays. Checked in then returned to reception later to ask how to access pool to be told it’s closed for maintenance for duration of our stay. Very annoyed we weren’t informed on booking (day before) or on arrival. We would have booked elsewhere. Really disappointed.

Cons:

Man hatte mir einen Late-checkout bis 16:00 versprochen wenn eine Verfügbarkeit besteht. Anscheinend bestand eine Verfügbarkeit da das Zimmer erst am nächsten Tag reserviert war. Am Ende ging es nur bis 12.00 Uhr.
