Comfort Inn & Suites near Bethel College

Water heater didnt work at the time. Was told I would get a partial refund, still waiting for it…

Very dirty! We always use to stay at Comfort Inns, not a chance now. The last two were DISGUSTING! There were scumbags drinking beer out on the lawn! I want my money back!

Please avoid this hotel at all costs. Zero stars. Cockroaches, mold, non-functioning plumbing, filth...I could go on and on. As my 11-year-old said as we were checking out, "We should have slept in the car."
I am in shock that this is a Comfort Inn. Obviously there are no standards for this company/brand being upheld.
At checkout, I verbally shared all of these concerns with the manager, who provided no solutions/recourse other than to say he would "let housekeeping staff know". This is not a housekeeping issue. This hotel needs to be condemned.

very worn carpets, room repairs were shoddily done ie painted over wallpaper but no repairs to where the wallpaper was missing or wrinkled. Breakfasts lacked fresh fruit and the menu was a bit limited. First day the coffee was not good

No ice mahcine

The facilities are very dated and not in a good way. The carpets in the hallway and near the elevator were so stained and gross. There were ice machines on every floor however none were in working order. There was a sign posted in the elevator to let the guests know if ice was needed, they had to get it from the front desk. Unfortunately, when there's only one person working, a quick trip to get ice took over 20 minutes. The staff person was dealing with an issue with another guest that took quite some time to get resolved. I went to get ice on 3 separate occasions and she wasn't available because she was still working with that guest. After the third time, I went back to my room to get my car keys as I planned to run to the gas station in order to get ice. When I came back down, she was finally available to do that. It shouldn't be like that.
While the room was tidy, the carpets were stained to the point that I wore my flip flops while in the room. The shower had very little water pressure - even on the massage setting.
I understand that I wasn't staying at the Ritz and you get what you pay for. The facilities can be outdated but they should be clean.
We travel to the Wichita area on a regular basis and this location is so much closer to where we need to be. We tried it out for this visit and we've decided that we'll go back to travelling a bit further in order to have better accommodations.

Rooms weren't kept well. The pool needs alot of improvement, extremely dirty water. There were bugs in the room bathroom, couldn't tell if it was cockroaches.

There were a lot of cosmetic issues in my room.

It was dirty! Security doors did not lock. Ice machine broken. Room had old food on the counter. Beds looked like a 5 year old made them, then played on them.

As opposed to my other stays, the breakfast was not as good. On Monday morning they were out of sausage and eggs. They didn't have syrup for the waffles any of the four days that I was there. It just wasn't to the standard of the earlier stays.

The overall experience was not good .

Check-in was horrible. When they gave us our rooms, the first room had not been cleaned, and the second room you could not get in because somebody had put the door jamb on the door what you think that the staff would have caught when they cleaned that room. Then they try to give us another room and there was already somebody staying in that room. They were having a hard time locating and available room and also one that had been cleaned because so many of them had not been claimed. We booked our rooms at this hotel two months prior to our stay
