Pleasure for coming back 😊
We stayed at this hotel twice within a two-week period. On the first occasion, we stayed for four days, and on the second, we stayed for two days. Unfortunately, both times, the Air conditioner was not functioning, and the reception attempted to charge us $10 for a room key that we had inadvertently lost. While the hotel’s location is pleasant, it falls short of meeting our expectations as a satisfactory hotel.
The hotel in general is nice, modern rooms, super clean, good location, nice breakfast. Staff very kind!
Located close to the Çemberlitaş tram station, the Golden Royal Hotel has easy access to all the near by historic sites and shopping. The daily breakfast options at the hotel were good! Staff are helpful and super friendly and ready to make arrangements for airport transfers, guides, etc.
Amazing hotel in the Sultanahmet area. Very warm and welcoming. Breakfast options were very good and hotel room service was fast and efficient. The hotel rooms were very nice and spacious. Our connecting room was set up perfectly for our family of 6. Thank you!
Excellent hotel and great staff, front desk staff are amazing and welcoming, everything needed for tourism is few steps/walk around, to and from airport transportation are acceptable and at the range similar to other companies. Again front staff are excellent, I highly recommend it and will be back for sure
Golden Royal was amazing! Great breakfast, comfy beds and pillows. Staff were super friendly.
Just one piece of advice, do not get a room on the top floor in the middle of summer. The ac struggled to keep the room cool. Other than that we had no complaints at all.

The perfect place when visiting Istanbul. Close to Grand Bazaar and Blue Mosque. The staff are amazing. Special thank you to Abdurrahman who assisted in so many ways, from providing breakfast items at midnight for my two kids, to requesting a neighboring restaurant to stay open a bit later for us to eat! Above and beyond is really appreciated when kids are involved. The hospitality is unmatched ! Thank you for an amazing time!
Our stay was pleasant, which was due in large part to staff member Abderrahmane. He was very welcoming and made us feel at home. He was also very knowledgeable, and gave excellent recommendations. One note we have is to improve the hotel breakfast coffee, which currently appears to be instant coffee.
Great location and awesome room designs
The hotel is very good it has everything you need and expect. The front desk agent who checked me in was fantastic he provided all information that I needed about places to go for food and tours.
- The staff were professional, friendly and helpful; especially Abdul Rahman, Yunus and Ola. Also, there’s a staff at the ground floor that took us to a few shops when we needed to buy adapter for the socket.
- The Hotel provided us with sumptuous breakfast throughout our stay.
- The hotel is central and closer to historical places.
- The room didn’t have adapter and the hotel didn’t provide it - we had to buy one with our money. Also, we were never not informed that the drinks in the fridge were at a price until when we checked out in the morning.

The only issue we have, super small rooms and tiny bathrooms
Yunis and Ersin were great at the front desk and very helpful...you could ask them for anything and they would do their best to provide for your request. Very friendly staff and overall a great hotel in a great location. Spend a lovely bank holiday weekend here and enjoyed the sights and sounds of Istanbul.
The staff was amazing they delivered a good client base service to each client help out giving information about the city excursions and help planning the visits.

It's a very good option close to all the tourist sites, the staff is extremely friendly, and the breakfasts are delicious. It's worth it.
It was very good. The location of the hotel is excellent, main Istanbul attractions are at few minutes walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly and hotel was nice neat and clean.
The staff was terrific. They lined up excellent tours, and welcomed me back with chay or wine. One tour had a glitch and they were genuinely worried until I showed up alive and well.
