Lastminute kwamen we terecht in Batavia Boutique Hotel!
Wij waren ondanks het heel slechte weer heel tevreden! We werden hartelijk onthaald en bediend door Potchie (een fantastische kerel!!!).
Mooi ingerichte kamers, ideale locatie om te voet Stellenbosch te bezoeken. We kregen goeie tips om wijnhuizen te bezoeken! Een aanrader

WiFi reception was very poor - we had a stream a hockey game and needed to move rooms for it. In these times, strong WiFi should be a given

Giant amazing beds.
Breakfast hours very short (should be 30 mins longer)
No way of walking to rooms or standing outside your room without getting soaking wet. I suggest a covered walkway to the rooms as it rains a lot in Stellies.
Also no room to put my suitcase open. I ended up moving the furniture myself.
I found this a disappointing hotel. I won't stay here again.

Ontbijt o.k. locatie zeer goed. Stoffering met ouderwetse meubelen.
Men kan geen advies geven over de wijnhuizen met proeverijen. Eerder bescheiden aanwezigheid van personeel. De kamer werd niet schoongemaakt tijdens het verblijf.

Well located, spacious, homely, very good breakfast.
Rooms 1 and 2 had no hot water (freezing) showers for all of us every morning for 4 days! Showered at 9 am and day of departure 8am. We ran the water for 15 min to try get hot water. Geyser Maybe on a timer ? I did tell the manager on duty but he couldn’t or didn’t do anything about it.

Relaxing, tranquil, exceptionally clean, stunning decor and very comfortable beds. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of the mountain. Walking distance from stores. Easy access to Hotel and elevator to upper floor. Loved every moment and will definitely book again.
