The staff at Arya Amed were really lovely and the cottages were private and gardens immaculate. The room was very comfortable and clean and good value for the price. They were happy to organise tours for us, including one to Mt Batur for sunrise (ask for Darsana as your guide, he was fantastic!). The pool was really peaceful. A couple of fantastic convenience stores right nearby - one with lots of fresh bread and other grocery type items. Laundry available by the kilo only a few doors away. Dinner and drinks at Sunset Point up the road was a highlight of our trip.
The beach isn't really usable at this location and transport is needed to get to most places. The pool was a little cloudy. The tours were really convenient and organised with good people, but a little overpriced (which we don't really mind, for the convenience - just noting I think we could've got them cheaper elsewhere). We wish we had've got transport to the main area and gone snorkeling from the shore, as the boat only took us to 1 location which was really busy and we could've walked in from the beach anyway. I believe there were other spots he could've take us too by boat as well, but we only went to the one spot. When we had a scooter we find another great spot to snorkel from the beach up the road at Lipah Beach (hired gear from Johnny) and that was actually better than the boat.
It’s a lovely quiet place with good views and a convenience store and warung right in front of the hotel.
Couldn’t watch any world news on the tv.
Beautiful environment with greenery, and breakfast with the ocean view. Overall, the staff were friendly and accommodating
The location was a bit out of the center, had to walk a bit to nearby cafes and resto, but it was not a big deal

Value for money, we knew it wasn't going to be amazing.
The place is very run down and filthy, it gets cleaned with dirty water and no cleaner, we knew it wasn't going to be great but I wasn't expecting it to be as dirty. Im pretty certain the place has bed bugs.

Beach with Black rocks , almost impossible to walk on or swim.
Roads busy with no proper pavement, dangerous to walk on.
Getting a taxi was difficult and inconvenient. Spent most of our time in the hotel or close by..

Snorkeling was good
Bardzo zadbany ogród, pokoje duże i wygodne łóżka. Klimatyzacja działała bardzo cicho, w pokoju lodówka. Taras z krzesłami i stolikiem to dodatkowy plus.
Przez cały pobyt - 4 dni - nie zmieniono ręczników, obiekt przy morzu - ale nie przy plaży - takiej tutaj nie ma - chociaż myślę że niewielkim koszem można by zrobic tutaj plażę i miejsce na leżaki i parasole.
