Les Airelles

We have walked past this hotel many times over the years and were looking forward to staying. Unfortunately the experience did not match the expectation. The lady manager was not helpful, she did not offer any help with the luggage( we had three big bags - skiing stuff is bulky!). As she sped away up stairs and round corridors, she did not look back or hold any of the doors open. When I finally caught up with her she looked annoyed that I had made her wait.

The room we were given was tiny, and when we pulled out the bed for our two sons there was barely enough floor space to put the luggage.

To cap off the stay, we went down to the bar / restaurant at around 8:30 pm after having dinner with friends in town. We were told very firmly by the same manager that we could be served only drinks and that "maybe try again around 10 or 10:30 pm!" Not ideal with a 6 and a 9 year old.

charming home produced goodies at breakfast. Friendly owners. 2 drawbacks - you have to brave the snow and cold to go from your room to the restaurant; and 2 the smallest bathroom I have ever encountered. Possibly ok for a Japanese dwarf, but not for me.

Bel accueil, belle décoration. Chambre numéro 1 trop bruyante: plancher haut qui craque. Sanibroyeurs et portes des autres chambres qui nous réveillent. La chambre numéro 1 n'est pas faite pour y dormir. Les autres chambres, en étage, doivent être mieux.

Excellent location for a ski hotel. Hotel room was adequate ,alittle let down by the small cold bathroom

Hôtel situé au cœur du village . Idéal pour les amateurs de ski . Personnel accueillant et serviable . Chambre un peu petite . Bloc wc douche un peu rustique . Restaurant typique savoyard attenant .

idéalement situé en bas des pistes, décoration montagnarde, personnel très souriant et aimable.

I would definitely return to this lovely hotel

hôtel pas au niveau . Salle de bain cabine aussi spacieuse que dans un camping car et moins pratique car pas de robinet dans la douche mais sur le lavabo et sans mitigeur !! tout juste de l'eau chaude pour une douche et encore pas très chaude!!! wc à broyeur très bruyant réveil assuré quand les usagers des chambres voisines se relèvent la nuit !!! C'est une honte en 2014 de payer 95€ pour un tel hébergement. L'emplacement n'excuse pas tout. Expérience à ne pas renouveler.

My only gripe is that when arriving at lunch time they were too busy to check us in to our room, otherwise they were pretty good. Excellent ski and boot room, superb location for those new to skiing, ski hire next door, ski school 30 seconds walk, nursery slope 20 seconds walk, drag lift to cable car outside hotel, plenty of parking, ski back to hotel. Does it get any better?

Nous avons passer une superbe nuit dans un petit chalet magnifique . Le service était super . Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir .
