Really nice central hotel with friendly staff and comfy beds
Pros:

Great location. Friendly reception staff, nice breakfast. Good place for an evening meal too, best atmosphere in Grindelwald.
The rooms with kitchenettes behind the hotel were lovely and quiet with comfy beds.

Cons:

The kitchen in the apartment didn’t have any equipment, you need to borrow a box from reception. Pillows could be better!

Look no further! Wolter is wonderful
Pros:

It’s super central, right across the road from the ski busses and Grindelwald train station. It has a great bar for people watching and restaurant had a great menu and wine selection. Don’t miss the Brunello and mountain meat / cheese plate.

Ideal für einen Kurzurlaub
Pros:

Freundlicher Empfang an der Reception und guter Service. Das Haus ist schon älter, aber gut gepflegt. Die Lage driekt am Bus-Terminal ist perfekt, speziell für einen Kurzurlaub zum Skifahren.

Cons:

Sehr kleines Zimmer (bei der Buchung übersehen).
Im Restaurant (Abendessen) stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im Vergleich mit andern Lokalen auf dem Platz nicht ganz. Service war sehr gut, Speisen eher Durchscnitt.

Pros:

Perfekte Lage mitten im Zentrum. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück war gut und das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.
