Pros:

We had a wonderful stay in Grindelwald. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with the charm of a traditional Swiss mountain hotel while still feeling well maintained and renovated.

One useful tip for future guests: when we first arrived, it took us a little while to find the entrance. The reception is on the second floor, and you can take the elevator located inside the restaurant on the ground floor. Clearer signage would make arrival a little easier.

Before our stay, the hotel thoughtfully emailed us to let us know that the Eidgenössisches Jugendjodelfest 2026 Grindelwald was taking place and that there might be some noise. We stayed in an apartment in the rear building and could barely hear anything at all. The soundproofing seemed very good, and we slept extremely well.

The highlight was definitely the balcony and its incredible mountain view. The scenery was beautiful throughout the day, and in the evening, walking just a little further up the hillside behind the hotel, we could even see a lovely starry sky.

Breakfast was very satisfying, with a good selection of breads, cheeses, cold cuts, juices and other drinks. Our apartment also had a kitchen; just note that kitchen utensils need to be collected from reception.

The only small improvement would be the lighting in the room, which felt a little dim. The bed linen also had a slightly textured feel, but it was still comfortable and did not affect our sleep at all.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The beautiful mountain views, peaceful sleep, good breakfast and warm atmosphere made this a lovely and comfortable base for exploring Grindelwald. We would happily stay here again.

シングル部屋でしたがバルコニーが付いていてアイガーの眺めは癒されました。　　年配の男性スタッフが親切で英語が上手く話せない私の話を一生懸命聞いて下さり幾つかレストランを紹介してくださり希望の料理（仔牛のクリーム煮）が食べられました。　　とても嬉しかった。

若い女性のフロントスタッフはあまり感じが良くなかった。

Great location. We were a 5-10 min walk to main attractions in Grindelwald and 2 min walk to the train station for other attractions like the top of Europe. We had an apartment which I recommend to save money on eating out! Was excellent.

性价比十分高地理位置十分优越的酒店，不推荐一楼餐厅吃饭，特别是晚餐。

地点非常好，就在火车站附近，不会吵。

Cons:

2人住的房间很窄，家庭房间推荐。另外一楼的餐厅价格偏高，芝士火锅特别不推荐，希望不要点这个。其他主菜偏咸。
