Lovely views over the Dordogne
The hotel looked very tired and is in need of a refurbishment. The carpets were smelly in the corridors. For such a large hotel, not to have anyone on site over night was worrying. The room had a fabulous view but was again tired looking with the bathroom very antiquated. To have a shower standing up was impossible because the water splashes over the side of the bath. Poor.

Sehr schönes, gutes Frühstück. Tolle Terrasse in parkähnlicher Umgebung. Restaurant ist sehr gut, sehr gutes Preis/ Leistungsniveau, besonders für ein Sterne-Restaurant..

L'éloignement des chambres de l'annexe avec beaucoup de marches.
Le personnel est très accueillant et agréable. Prévoyant également, nous avons été contacté à l’avance pour prévoir notre dîner et réserver une table.

scary waiter argued and got angry but eventually with a toss of the head agreed to set menu price with a toss of the head
spoilt a good meal and stay in otherwise excellent hotel.

Narrow stairs and no lift
Beautiful location. The front desk staff are excellent.
The host at breakfast was not very kind and did not represent a relais chateaux. The other staff were really sweet, so glad for all of them although younger.
