An exceptional hotel. Great, quiet location. Yet easy to get to.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great and well maintained interior.
This hotel really stands out in nowadays hotel culture.

Pros:

Clean, everything works, friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

The hotel location is spectacular but Hornberg is not a scenic Black Forest town. Could have been more generous with cool water in the heatwave, had to buy expensive bottles.

Lovely family run hotel clean and comfortable
Pros:

This is a lovely family run hotel set up the hill above the town, its clean well appointed and well run. We have stayed a few times and its a go to place for us.

Cons:

It was very hot on our visit and whilst the room had a fan , without air con sleeping was very difficult and opening a window is a no no as its a forested location and the mosquitos arnt friendly . Its locate dup the hill and whilst a 10 min walk down to the lovely town where we enjoyed a great meal its a hard trek back up so we used the local taxi service but be aware they charge 16 euros before you even set off ...

Pros:

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La chambre était très spacieuse et confortable. Le cadre est magnifique, en pleine forêt, ce qui rend l'endroit très calme et reposant. Nous avons également été impressionnés par la propreté exceptionnelle de l'hôtel. Tout était impeccable. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Il panorama dal ristorante dell'hotel e la vicinanza alla torre storica.

Cons:

La presenza di moquette nella sala da pranzo/colazione. La mancanza di zanzariere alle finestre delle camere ha causato l'entrata di numerosi insetti la sera.

Pros:

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und eine familiäre Atmosphäre in einem altehrwürdigen Gemäuer in wunderschöner Lage hoch über dem Städtchen. Wir waren als Wanderer an einem sehr heißen Tag müde angekommen und freuten uns, dass wir trotz Ruhetag des Restaurants dennoch kurzfristig ein Halbpension-Menü dazubuchen konnten und genossen dieses Abendessen auf der Terrasse im Schatten der alten Kastanien. Das reichhaltige Frühstücksbüffet ließ keine Wünsche offen, sodass wir gestärkt und glücklich unsere Wanderung fortsetzen konnten.
