Friendly staff in every department that I interacted with from front desk to housekeeping to breakfast/food service. Thank you.
Clean and well kept. Employees showed pride in their workplace.
Was under construction? In the process of remodeling? Not sure which but large boxes lined the halls. Early morning Saturday hammering. Pool was out of service.
Not sure, was there already a rate adjustment built in when I booked or still paid regular price?
Great location
When we arrived we waited over 20 mins for someone to check us in, and the room we were in had a storage closet across the hall and there was a air compressor or something that started up and run every 30 mins all night long and was loud and made everything shake.
Na
Pool not working and bugs in room
Convenient booking and check in.
Elevators were noisy.
Staff used profanity with me when i asked about the pool being closed, when i was told multiple times it was operational on check in, an hour later it waswas closed
Room is a bit outdated and seemed very damp. Great conversation with the kitchen staff - freindly and very helpful.
Clean, quiet, comfortable
Love that it’s by Culver’s! Also just far enough from QC to be comfortable! Always love it here!
It's was a nice hotel.
The night staff was so rude and did not fix my maintenance issue. But other then that it was ok
We have stated many times. The staff is great and the place is clean. The hotel is in need of an update but other than that, we like it😀
The outside of the building looks perfectly fine. The reception area is dated but ok.
Our room was on the 3rd floor taking the elevator up was scary as it stopped and made a loud noise before opening the door. A guy who was also on said that is “normal” for that elevator.
The floor its self is quite dated and frankly ugly. On entering the room, they had left the air conditioner on so low that we were forced to increase the room temperature by turning on the heat. The room was super dated with yellow tinged lamp shades and the carpeting from the entryway to the bed area was frayed and coming apart. The bathroom was gross with stains on the walls.
Unfortunately, I stepped on the frayed area with my bare feet and stepped on the top of a nail that was out about a quarter of an inch. It hurt but did not break the skin.
On the way to the pool, I stopped at the desk. I had to say “hello” twice before I heard a “Just a minute.” Obviously, there was a front desk employee in the Managers Office.
She came out finally stuffing her mouth with some sore of crackers/food. I asked how old the hotel was and because of the quantity of food in her mouth , I could not hear her response. I then said to her, “Well, I don’t want to interrupt your snack- I’ll let you finish.” and we walked away.
We have stayed in many, many Hampton’s over the years but that’s it for us. Never again.
I would ask the corporation to spend some money on the place and teach reception staff how to interact with their guests. The food incident was over the top!!
The hotel is located in a safe area. The hotel condition is definitely showing its age, as it needs an update. The landscaping and lawn maintenance seems in need of attention. We would stay here again, due to ease and accessibility, but recommend the owner/management address some of the aforementioned.
This Hampton Inn has seen better days and is in need of some TLC. The room’s curtains were ripped and didn’t close completely, the furniture is worn, and the breakfast was mediocre. It’s not worth the $149/night rate.
Would also recommend more gluten free options. Thank you.
Beds were clean.
Ants in the bathroom.
Our room was right next to the elevator. Seems the elevator needed service as there was a hydraulic pump that started and stopped all the time whether it was in use or not. And noisy as well.
Hallway smelled like chemical fragrance trying to cover other odors. Room smelled strongly of frebreze or similar. Being fragrance intolerant this caused lung congestion and sore throat.
Bed and pillows were good.
