Cheap and cheerful
Pros:

It’s a motorway services Days Inn. You’re not getting the Mandarin Oriental. They are what they are. Cheap and serve a purpose. This was one of the more run down ones I’ve stayed in, and the corridors stunk of cannabis, but the staff were good and it just is what it is.

Cons:

There was a McDonald’s salt packet on the top next to the bathroom sink when I went in.

Good stay, would use again

Was fine for a one night stay and if you drove. Staff really friendly

The staff wer brilliant ..i kn ow its a budget hotel necause we stay in lots of Days Imn and they are great value for money but this one is and was dated last time we stayed. Its sucj a shame and probably wouldnt cost much to makr sure toilet roll holdrrs sre screwed on correctly and not rusty. Or that the toilet seatt was wonky and the flusher wasnt working first time ..and the bathroom door was dirty and scuffed.

The bed sheets smelled damp and dirty, the units that the TV sits on and was beside the beds, was really sticky, the water from the taps smelled disgusting and left a horrible smell in the room, 2 plug sockets through the full room, dirt and alsorts of marks on the walls, TV was a smart TV but didn't connect to the internet, when we left for a few hours during Saturday afternoon we left the tag thing on the door so no one would go in our rooms since all our personal belongings were in there and someone had been in when we got back, after we mentioned about the cleaner being in the receptionist said "they don't care they go in anyway" asked for a different room because my daughter has cystic fibrosis and the room was too dirty for her to be in and we got told there was only one room left and the toilet didn't flush in that room, definitely will not be back £124 to sleep in a shed.

The worst hotel room we have ever stayed in
Pros:

Location is convenient

Cons:

Shower didn’t work properly
Filthy
The smell hit you when you walked in the room
Doors banging and people speaking/shouting all night
Groups of people standing about outside in the car park all night
We stayed in family room which was spacious
My husband said - like something out an American horror film
We were scared all night due to the noise and were woken at 3am with raised voices from next door
