This hotel should not be operating unless the property is properly renovated. The smell of stale air, dampness, and cigarette smoke throughout the entire building, including both the hallways and the room, made it very unpleasant to stay there. The carpets were in terrible condition, and the bathroom was full of mould. The shower curtain also had a strong, unpleasant smell.

I wasn’t expecting luxury, but I did expect a clean and properly maintained place to stay. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the hotel left a lot to be desired.

bed was very comfortable. We were offered an exchange room with the minimum of fuss by very approachable and friendly reception staff member.

Cons:

Initial room on ground floor smelt very damp and would have been an issue, had there not been a another room available. thankfully this was resolved with little fuss by the on duty staff member. Issue was then going to be addressed.
