Excellent property..loved it
I always love staying at Pacific Views Resort, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. This time my apartment was on the 19th floor with amazing views over the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast. I highly recommend staying here.
I have stayed at Pacific Views Resort several times and it is always amazing. This time I had an amazing apartment on the 12th floor. I will definitely be back soon.
View quiet . Definitely be back

For us the best part was the whales. We were able to see them from the comfort of our bed and of course from the balcony.
The 3 days we were there, we woke up to the "morning whale show". It was simply beautiful.
The place is well located:
restaurants, pubs, supermarkets beachfront. Beautiful beach although we went in winter and as Floridians, we avoided the cold waters 😂.
The living room is spacious. The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials. Washer and dryer that worked well.
We had an amazing apartment overlooking the sea , high up & plenty of whales playing right in front of you .
Also had the sand barge wirking & that was a great sight watching that
The recepitionist (R,) was wonderful , lovely lady .
We had a deal with the cafe next door & it was yum yum pigs bum good .
We will be back again .
The bed was old and uncomfortable the bedding was terrible the “duvet” smelt and was next to useless and the pillows were terrible. The heating was virtually non existent. To heat up the apartment we had a small blow heater and small oil column heater which didn’t cut it. Everything is just old and needs a total refresh. Not sure if it really qualifies to be labelled a resort at least don’t expect anything exotic.
Property managers were amazing! Credit to the resort.
Great views from apartment can’t complain.
As is lots of Surfers building noise and truck noise was at times deafening, all day beep beep from machines reversing and loud bangs from various activities.
Price for rooms likely reflect this.
I would recommend the resort just on the basis of the Management team being so friendly and accommodating.
As was my experience the apartment was lacking good equipment, pots and pans are old and need replacing. All knifes blunt etc…I think the owners have to step up! I know there is abusers of your items, though I am sure they are few and far between.

Great location !
Our stay was 7 nights .
Modern apartment and quite big but the bed was absolutely awful . Low to the ground and hard thin mattress .
No TV in the bedroom and too cold at night to sit in lounge room.
Limited ocean views from our room level 6 / 11 .
Pool area not very inviting but we didn’t use it anyway in July .
Winey Cow cafe under apartment was really great !
Main beach a unique upmarket suburbin a class of its own.The hotel has beautiful renovated apartments are friendly and stunning beachfront views
We loved our stay and the amazing view
No King Bed
Air Conditioning doesn’t work
Room had a terrible smell
Top shortly had blood stains
Will not recommend Expedia and Lastminute to other future customers
Avoid if you value cleanliness, respect, or basic decency.
The only thing going for this place is its location. Beyond that, it's a parade of disappointments, starting with the paper-thin pillows and basic furnishings that barely scrape by under the label of “budget-friendly.”
But the real issue? The utter lack of cleanliness. One of the toilets had visible brown stains—yes, feces—despite a sticker claiming it was “hygienically cleaned and ready to use.” When we raised this with management, instead of an apology or even a room change, we were smugly told we could “find another hotel” if we weren’t happy. As if that’s realistic during peak season at the Gold Coast. They knew full well we had no other options and used that power imbalance to brush us off. It was insulting, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.
On top of that, you’re given one towel per person for a five-night stay. No fresh towels unless you rewash the same one yourself. Need beach towels? You’ll have to rent them.
There are some kitchen utensils, but don’t expect even the most basic cooking essentials—you’ll need to buy your own salt, pepper, and oil if you plan to cook anything at all.
And in case you thought you were paying for a full-service stay—you’re responsible for taking your own trash out to the external bins before checking out.
Oh, and the pool? Closed for a full day and night due to maintenance. Not mentioned anywhere when we booked, of course. Yet we still paid in full.
