Our rooms were very spacious (junior suite/suite)
Staff is very friendly and professional
Rooms were clean
Sauna and jacuzzi were very nice
It was too hot during night in the room.
The common areas (like hall ways, stairs, etc) looked dirty and rundown
The big pool was very cold
Breakfast has very limited choices for continental breakfast
We would like to thank the reception team and especially the maintenance staff that assisted us when our car didn’t start. They saved our day Thank you all
Location was good close to beach and walk distance to town centre
No facilities gym or pool was not open for a spa hotel this would of been expected. I only got told this after I had paid for my booking.
The bed was not comfortable and very noisy with outside noise and within the building.
English Breakfast was terrible it had been heated up as the plate was extremely hot and the food was dry, the next day I had just toast. After paying for this hotel plus £30 parking and breakfast with no working Facilities available I would not recommend at all.
Everything new and clean and modern
Room size and nice decor
Few bits and pieces not finished or poorly finished/repaired but not major.
Unfortunately the spa was closed for refurb which I think could have been flagged up when booking was made (a week earlier so it was surely also closed then) as that was the main reason for staying there particularly. But the hotel is very nice anyway - light, bright rooms, and a friendly and welcoming Team. Will definitely stay again when spa is open.
Location, room and breakfast.
Spa and pool were closed and not informed until the last minute
The hospitality from Adz was first class, he was very attentive and very helpful. He was very polite and made our stay very comfortable.
That we were not told until after we had booked that the swimming pool and Spa were not ready to use.
Nice hotel , great staff . Good value for money
Spa facilities were unavailable .
Always spotlessly clean, staff are lovely , foods good.
Beautifully decorated and clean. We had the most beautiful homemade scones, and the staff did their best to accommodate everything we asked for
There were lots of little things:
rooms need a phone to call down to staff.
The shower isn’t very powerful and the toiletries are in the wrong place on the wall so you catch them on your arms when showering.
The heating was temperamental in the room, we’ve had to inform them of issues over and over and had no heating for our last night at all.
The spa was closed which we were informed about 3 days prior to our trip with no option to cancel the stay. We were offered the use of the pool at a local hotel and given £20 to spend at the bar, which was ok but still disappointing.
There should be a mirror by the dressing table in my opinion
Room and hotel decor was nice
We checked in to then be told the spa and pool isn’t available that day ! That was the reason of our stay !
Nice staff, older hotel that has been modernised. Fantastic value for money at £50 a night.
£15 is expensive for parking however there was an issue which meant we were allowed to park for free. Carpets could maybe use with a deep clean or needing replaced.
The staff at the front desk where so lovely to us and help us with all kinds of things, like the best places to go swimming (because their facilities where shut for renovations at the time) and the one man was so lovely and grabbed us a ton of utensils to take upstairs because he saw we had brought food in.
Facilities where under construction but we understand that that was out of the employees control.
