A lovely stay with friendly and helpful service. Special thanks to Nihanika at the Front Office for being so welcoming,
Pros:

Great location next to Bournemouth’s East Cliff, with beautiful views and everything conveniently nearby. Clean hotel, friendly staff, and a good breakfast.

Cons:

There is no room service, so guests need to go to the restaurant, bar, or reception for anything they need. It would also be great to have a small mini fridge in the rooms, especially for keeping medicines and drinks. Providing a complimentary bottle of water on arrival would also be a nice touch.

Pros:

Excellent facilities and really good breakfast, staff great and the bar stayed open later for the world cup game!

Cons:

Paid for parking at the hotel but had to leave the car in the space for the duration because if we left no guarantee of a space upon returning I would have thought the space would be reserved as we had paid for 24 hours very disappointed with this and cost a fortune in taxis!

Lovely Room, location , breakfast, But Spa Needs Attention
Pros:

The room was lovely, clean and spacious, with all the modern conveniences you could need. It had USB charging points, although USB-C connections would have been a useful addition. The hairdryer, iron, safe and luggage stand were also great touches. The hotel is in a great location, right next to the beach, which was a real bonus. Just be aware that getting to the beach involves a fairly steep slope and some steps, so it may be challenging for anyone with mobility difficulties.Parking for hotel guests was £3 per hour or £15 per day. There was also free street parking between 5pm and 9am, which was useful. The jacuzzi was a lovely temperature and would have been a great place to relax, but unfortunately it wasn’t as clean as it should have been. There was visible sand at the bottom and a green tide mark around the edges. The swimming pool was a good size, but there were also noticeable sand deposits in the pool and it appeared to need a good clean. Breakfast was good, with a decent selection and plenty of options to choose from. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the room was a definite highlight. The location was excellent, particularly being so close to the beach. However, the cleanliness of the pool and jacuzzi was disappointing and something the hotel should address, as it would make a big difference to the overall experience

Cons:

Cleanliness of the pool and jacuzzi

Queens Hotel and Spa
Pros:

Nice friendly check in. Allegedly upgraded to a room with a balcony, but what I paid was for a family room anyway.
Swimming pool and spa worth visiting, although we didn't use the spa, only pool and jacuzzi.

Breakfast was good, lots of choices, why dont they have crispy bacon, I dont Know?
Fried eggs kept hot, not a good idea.
Scrambled eggs, well over cooked.
Normal display of yoghurt, mini croissant and white and brown bread. Orange and apple juice.

The bar had a nice seating area, as did the small garden through the bar.

Only 10 minutes walk to the beach and the peir.
Which was a nice walk.

Cons:

Nice hotel, obviously an old building, a few areas were the carpet requires renewing.
Lots of squeaks and bumps from upstairs, meaning the rooms are not sound proof.
Shower was either very hot or very cold.
Toilet flushing wasn't the best. Leave that to your imagination.
Balcony door not easy to open.
At breakfast I mentioned to the staff that the plates were to hot to touch in the hot cupboard. Only to be told to tone my language. Then a boy aged 8 went to take a plate and said it was to hot, so I helped him until his farther arrived.
I told another member of staff, who stacked cold plates into the plate rack.
There was no sigh saying "hot plates"
The Green room is very dated, lacks light, and the green colour makes the room tired and uninspiring.

Generally a very tired hotel pretending to be 4 star when its a good 3.
