Anlage mit großem Potential - leider nicht ausgeschöpft
Pros:

Die Lage am Hang ist wirklich toll, der dazugehörende Strand äußerst malerisch mit Sand, Palmen und Felsen. Zimmer prinzipiell sauber und recht geräumig. Frühstück ist sehr gut mit einer großen Auswahl an frischen Früchten. Auch das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen mit fairen Preisen. Der Pool ist schön angelegt mit ausreichend Liegen und Schirmen.

Cons:

Die Lage direkt an der Hauptstraße ist im Bereich der Rezeption sehr laut. Die Zimmer, welche direkt an der Straße liegen, sind innen gut gegen diesen Lärm abgeschirmt, am Balkon hört man den Verkehr sehr wohl. Die Anlage hat wirklich Potential, da sie äußerst malerisch am Hang zum Meer hin liegt. Leider liegen sehr viel Unrat, Baurestmassen, etc. herum - vor allem unter den Bungalows, was man erst am Weg vom Meer zurück zu den Zimmern sieht - gar nicht schön, könnte man aber ganz leicht entfernen. Zudem wäre an den Dächern der Bungalows und an den Fassaden eine Renovierung angesagt. Der Pool bräuchte auch ein Freshup - da bröselt es auch an mehreren Stellen. Der Pool- und Liegenwart ist im Umgang mit den Gästen alles andere als bemüht und recht forsch. Am Strand sind genau drei Liegen, die sofort besetzt sind. Bei Ebbe kann man aufgrund der Korallen schwer ins Wasser gehen (dafür kann das Hotel aber nichts dafür). Die Korallen insgesamt sind nach unserem vorherigen Aufenthalt in Koh Tao eine Enttäuschung, das Wasser war zudem stets getrübt. Bitte das Hotel nicht in erster Linie der Korallen wegen aussuchen, da gibt es wesentlich tollere Plätze in Thailand.

Pros:

Un hôtel avec une vue imprenable et un accès à une des plus belles plage de Koh Samui. Nous avons été ravie de notre séjour avec une chambre super confortable.
Gros + pour le personnel et notamment les femmes de ménages qui rendent la chambre parfaite et prenne soin de nos affaires 🧸
Petit déjeuner super, frais !
Je recommande !

Cons:

Uniquement le débit d’eau qui n’est pas très puissant dans la douche.

Lits confortables, chambre spacieuse, piscine sympa, jolie plage, bon petit déjeuner buffet, personnel accueillant et sympathique

Manque un étendoir sur le balcon des chambres, des explications pour le safe, explication pour commander des omelettes ou autre, l’emplacement nécessite un moyen de transport pour aller explorer (les restaurants et petits marchés locaux sont éloignés , mais facile de prendre un taxi)

Great but won’t stay there again
Pros:

The property had a lovely view and we found the rooms comfortable. Quiet and convenient

Cons:

The staff were not very friendly to us and seemed like they were not on top of everything. They were asking to pay for my bike hire twice because they didn’t record that I had dropped the key off and paid in cash which is their preferred method. We even extended our stay and not once did we have any recommendations given to us for tours and activities

Very average for such a highly rated resort.
Pros:

It was beachfront but the rocks and coral are very sharp. Staff were pleasant.

Cons:

It is difficult walking anywhere without using the main road and the road is very busy. We were originally placed in a room next to the road and hardly got any sleep for the first 3 nights until we upgraded to a room near the pool area. I had booked and prepaid for our accommodation 6 months in advance and were given the worst room in the resort.

This was our second stay at the Coral Cliff Beach Resort, and once again this beautiful place completely stole our hearts. After spending more than five weeks here, we can honestly say that this is so much more than just a hotel – it truly feels like a little piece of paradise.
The breathtaking location, the stunning infinity pool, and what we believe is the most beautiful beach on Koh Samui for snorkeling make this resort absolutely unforgettable. The crystal-clear water, delicious breakfast, excellent food, beautiful rooms, and the perfectly maintained gardens make every single day a joy.
But what truly makes this place extraordinary are the people. Every member of the staff, from the reception team to the restaurant staff and the housekeeping team, welcomes guests with genuine warmth, kindness, and care. You don’t just feel like a guest here – you feel at home.
Unfortunately, our holiday took an unexpected turn when a serious illness forced us to stay much longer than planned. We had to change rooms several times, but the entire team did everything they could to make sure we could remain at the resort. Their compassion, flexibility, and support during such a difficult time meant more to us than words can express. We will never forget their kindness.
A very special thank you goes to Anan from the restaurant. His warm smile, positive energy, and genuine friendliness made every day brighter. People like him are the reason guests come back.
And of course, we cannot forget the newest “restaurant manager” – the adorable little squirrel Djschu! This tiny celebrity brings smiles to everyone, young and old, and has become a wonderful part of the Coral Cliff Beach Resort experience.
We came here as a family and are leaving with unforgettable memories, grateful hearts, and the feeling that we have found a second home.

Amazing location.

Cons:

Rooms snd hotel are very dated. Air con didn’t work very well. Wouldn’t go below 27deg. Very hot and hardy slept. Very noisy beside the road.
Hot water took about 5 minutes to come through in the shower
