Pros:

Lovely staff, clean spacious rooms and nice evening meal, breakfast was average

Location of hotel is excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient. Downside it is quite noisy and a little dated.
Pros:

Location to airport and the staff were excellent

Cons:

A little dated in some areas and finding toe nails on the carpet the room was rather disgusting

Był to powrót do przeszłości, powrót na "stare śmieci". Wszystko było perfekcyjne: lokalizacja obiektu, połączenia autobusowe, sklepy wokół, atrakcje w okolicy, zwiedzanie, lotnisko aż po uśmiechniętą obsługę, zawsze służącą pomocą i cudowne smakujące posiłki.

Pros:

Location staff restaurant

Cons:

Parking was confusing, couldn’t get the machine to work so had to do it online, only to find out you can do it when checking in. Didn’t have to stand in the dark and cold if there was clear signage.

I fell into a shower in a hotel near Heathrow Airport, namely Holiday Inn Express. The shower had no slip mat. I fell straight on my bottom. The reception staff came up and told me they would call an ambulance. Ambulance never came. And the call log they wouldn't show me, but they said all the incidents have been logged in their call incident record. I had to stay another night and the day of my departure from the hotel, I couldn't move and an ambulance was called. I was taken to hospital where they found out I had three fractures in my vertebrae, lumbar, another one, and a compression fracture. I am now on wearing a back brace to keep me comfortable. I've got an appointment with the hospital 11th of March and if the fracture does not heal, they may have to operate. I have consulted a law firm to find out what my options are. Now on entering the hotel, I found a board near the reception that the hotel is operated by Serena Property Investment Limited and underneath it says they are affiliated by IHG Hotel Group. So I need to find out where do I go from here. Thank you. End call.

Great option for Heathrow layovers
Pros:

Comfortable hotel, conveniently located near to Terminal 5, with well equipped rooms and super friendly staff. A generous breakfast offering is included in all rooms and the staff there were especially attentive, especially Elena. I look forward to returning back!
