We arrived in London Heathrow at 9pm we had messaged to say time of arrival, there was a message left on mobile saying they never had a room for us , and they had moved us to the Hilton in Woking the hotel was fine but cost us over a £100 in fares, which wasn't fair,
Why were we not contacting during day instead of last minute message on mobile.
After a rubbish start which almost had me looking for another hotel ria the girl on reception sorted thd parking issue out. Thanks ria
Costa who works on the bar offered exceptional service. He went out of his way to arrange a special meal for my daughter who is gluten intolerant and autistic and ensured she got a meal that was both suitable and to her liking. Thank you Costa!!
Hard to pick anything that I liked except for the staff who were all very friendly and helpful in what is a very busy hotel.
The room was very cold and reset to cold whenever you left so you arrived back in a freezing room . In addition you couldn't adjust the thermostat, it's preset . The room overall was somewhat tatty and dilapidated, the bed was tiny , a 4'6" double . The hdmi on the TV didn't work so you can't connect a laptop or phone . Breakfast was all a bit crap , powdered egg , uncooked soggy hash browns , no pancakes despite the adverts . Sort of breakfast where you stop eating as soon as you're not hungry . Parking is an additional £16.50 per vehicle per night . All in all it's ok if you come by public transport and are flying from Heathrow the next day otherwise I'd find somewhere else. There are plenty hotels in the area
Me and my wife were looking for a place to stay after flying into Heathrow before traveling on the next day. We went to where the buses come into the airport, we went to bus stop 7, and then caught the 703 bus which cost £3 each, and after 12 minutes it stop right outside the hotel. The staff on front desk where polite and extremely helpful and checking in was a breeze. The room was clean and comfortable had all the usual amenities and for a busy hotel it was a peaceful night. It had a bar in the lobby area which was very welcome after a long days traveling, which close at 11pm, again a great access to a peaceful night sleep. We had a cook breakfast in the morning, you could have cereals, then select from sausages bacon etc, and there was plenty of fruit and soft drinks and tea and coffee. On departure he had a direct line to a taxi company which were an excellent partner of this hotel. Check out time was 12noon. All this for £59. So if you ever need a sleep over before or after a flight, this place is the one you should use.
The housekeeping supervisor, Yasin, was not only extremely friendly, but also went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. His warm attitude, attention to detail, and timely service made our stay incredibly enjoyable, and we are truly grateful for his help.
