The room was nice. No dingy carpet! The room felt clean if that makes sense. The breakfast was great.
The handle to flush the toilet was messed up (hard to explain). I considered asking for it to be repaired but it was already late in the day and we wanted to get dinner before turning in. I'm handy so figured out the problem and fixed it (someone had taken the handle off and put it back in flipped the wrong direction then bent the rod to try to make it work). We run into this kind of problem all the time. Other than the toilet the room was clean and pretty nice.
Location was convenient and good breakfast.
Pool and hot tub were closed for use. It would have been nice to have an advance warning when booking as I was planning on using it. Mini fridge and AC unit in room was noisy.
Staff was very friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Website says rooms have microwaves, but there was no microwave. Website says there is a pool and whirlpool. Both are closed for an extended period of time. Staff could give me no estimate if and when they would be open again. We had a spacious king size room. However there is only a bed lamp for reading on one side of the bed. The was no light near the other side of the bed or by the couch, so reading after dark was difficult.

Good Breakfast
All good!
Close to where we needed to go.
We booked it for the pool specifically and it was out of order. When I expressed that I was not happy about it she was quite rude. And the breakfast was horrible. For what we paid for the room I was very disappointed in your hotel and the customer service.
Price, clean, good breakfast, friendly staff
Breakfast good..
Early yard mowing right next to lower ground floor window. Alot of people racing and burning rubber across the street. Til late. The beds though comfy enough needed to be fixed All torn on the bottoms.could maybe use more than one shampoo,?The front desk lady though was extremely nice had no idea how to make change She came from another country . Didn't know anything about the pool etc I respect she works but as a front desk person not understanding money is not good God bless her. Maybe a bit of teaching her? The pool room was down. Had family there for trap shoot most disappointed grandkids was told to talk day manager about possible money off bill but was no where to be found and had to leave early am for trap shoot.
If I could give this hotel zero stars, I absolutely would.
We checked in on a Friday evening and immediately realized something was wrong. The room looked as though it had never been cleaned after the previous guest checked out. Their garbage was still sitting in the room. The microwave was filled with crumbs, the refrigerator was dirty, and things only got worse from there.
My wife always inspects hotel beds before unpacking. She noticed hair and stains on the sheets, so we pulled everything back for a closer look. What we found was unbelievable—a massive urine stain covering the mattress pad. At that point, any confidence we had in the cleanliness of the room disappeared.
The bathroom wasn't any better. The shower and tub were dirty, the faucet was broken, and there was a used bar of soap still sitting in the corner from a previous guest. The sink drain was so clogged that water pooled and drained at a snail's pace. Throughout the room, drywall was peeling off the walls. The pillowcases were so saturated with sweat stains that my wife ended up going to Walmart to buy new pillows rather than use the ones provided.
To top it all off, the pool was out of service, yet the hotel was still charging rates that would be difficult to justify even for a clean, well-maintained property.
My wife went to the front desk to address the issues, and honestly, she felt terrible for the employee working that night. She was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely tried everything she could to make the situation right. Unfortunately, it was obvious we weren't the only guests having problems. She was the only employee on duty, dealing with complaint after complaint, and when she attempted to contact management for assistance, nobody showed up. That's not just poor customer service—it's a terrible way to treat both your guests and your employees.
The next morning, we checked out and spoke with a different front desk employee. The interaction could not have been more different. There was no apology, no concern, and no interest in hearing additional details about our experience. Her only response was that other hotels in the area were charging similar rates. I replied, "Yes, but guests at those hotels aren't paying premium prices to stay in a dirty room with a broken pool and spa." She simply continued typing on her keyboard, said very little, and reduced the bill by $100.
This hotel appeared busy, but it was clearly understaffed, poorly maintained, and severely neglected. The best way I can describe it is putting lipstick on a pig. Behind the appearance of a hotel is a property that is dirty, deteriorating, and nowhere near worth what they're charging. In my opinion, this is a $79-a-night hotel at best—and even that feels generous.
It was one of the worst hotel experiences we've had, and we will never return.
I was able to find a lower price on line vs calling and talking to staff.
Breakfast was not gluten free friendly.
the breakfast was excellent. the yogurt machine & toppings were great. the cranberry wild rice bread is excellent
the pool & hotub were under repair
Our room had HVAC problems. Scott did an excellent job taking care of us. He was able to switch us to another room, even though the hotel was nearlly full. We appreciated the concern shown and timely solving of the problem.
H
Pool and hot tub were not working and I was not notified a head of time. It was clear it had been down for quite a while.
The bed and pillows were comfy and the breakfast was pretty good.
The pool wasn’t open and the hotel is showing its age. A chair in the room was ripped and the furniture was looking rough.
