Budget hotel but the best you could expect for the low price. Very good size room and good shower. Bit of a creaky floorboard above when people walked on it!

A cheap stay on a motorway! Did what it said on the tin! Bathroom needed repaint and faint smell of cigarette smoke but very quiet, receptionist and housekeeping were lively. Bed comfy and clean.

The property is a hotel at a service station on the M1. It cost me £45 for a night, so I really can’t complain. It’s basic, but has everything you would need for a quick stop off to break up a drive. No frills but reception lady was lovely and friendly.

Bed was very uncomfortable. The noise of people walking about in the room above my head was terrible, thought there was a herd of elephants in there

Reception staff very welcoming booking & check in was easy but our overnight stay was not peaceful as we wanted. The corridor was noisy from other guest, dog barking after every few minutes in the next room as well as the ceilings squiking from people walking in the room upstairs floor. It was a restless experience even though we were very very tired from long distance travelling. Beds are comfy & bathroom was ok shower was good served our need. Tea & coffee provided which was handy in the morning I will only stay again if I can’t drive from tiredness & extreme desperate in need. House keeping staff were also helpful during checking out.

Ideal for a stop over

Definitely a tired hotel. Basic room. Has the standard facilities but bathroom was definitely tired with warn out bath.

There was a random mars bar up by the spare pillows and the bed was absolutely terrible

Could not open window more than inch, where as others were open further. Otherwise great stay and very nice front desk staff

Helpful, courteous staff, comfy room, safe environment- much appreciated by tired long distance walker! Recommended for anyone walking the Jurassic Way- only 10-15 minutes walk off route.

Lights did not work in the room.
The TV reception was poor

While one could nit-pick (receptionist seemed surprised to have to explain the set-up to us, we'd never been before, broken light in the bedroom flashing and clicking, fan in the bathroom not working, whole place pretty shabby and tired-looking) nonetheless the bed was comfortable, the black-out was good, there was no road noise and the shower was smashing. Overall, amazing for the price. I'd go back.

The windows cannot be closed and it's too old they refused to give me my receipt when I pay for it or an invoice

Difficult to locate the hotel. Description is totally wrong. Staff appeared to me as untrained, loss and unprofessional

Basic but exactly as expected except for actually door keys! Enjoyed the nostalgia

Girl on reception was great but the building was tired and old

It was extremely noisy, we were woken by staff talking and dogs barking. No hot water in the morning so we had cold showers
