Professional,Helpful and accommodating
Pros:

The staff was always so friendly and helpful. David Huffman at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful with whatever we needed. The ladies that worked in the kitchen went above and beyond to feed our large crowd and always did it with a smile. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone having a family gathering.

Weekend stay for a funeral
Pros:

All of the staff were very helpful and hospitable. David did an amazing job helping accommodate our family for my grandfathers funeral. The building was very nice and clean. The stay was comfortable and enjoyable!

Family gathered for a celebration of life in the venue space.
Pros:

David was extremely helpful. The entire staff provided exceptional service. The food was outstanding. The security for the garage access to the hotel was appreciated.
This hotel provides a great view across downtown Amarillo and several restaurants are close by within walking distance.

Pros:

Large rooms and close to a lot of cool food spots. Dave at front desk is fun and woman at Starbuck’s inside is awesome.

Pros:

Nice location. A plus to have the parking garage on site. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Room was spacious and clean. We will definitely make this our go to when in Amarillo.

Nice and spacious
Pros:

We stayed overnight while traveling through Amarillo. The room, with a love seat, was spacious, clean and quiet. Convenient downtown location is walking distance to nearby restaurants.

Historic Building- Nice Stay
Pros:

Courtyard is the business oriented hotel in Marriotts mid brand category. Solid properties and several extra amenities for the business traveler. The DT Amarillo property is special because it’s part of a Courtyard hall of fame where Courtyards were carved out of old, historic downtown buildings in cities. The Amarillo property is in the 1923 Fisk Bank building. Lobby is full of historic pictures and artifacts. Rooms are clean and comfortable, many with great views on the historic downtown. Spacious for regular hotel rooms with good beds and fairly up to date bathrooms. Well located in the heart of historic Amarillo, there are 14 restaurants located within a safe walking area. Service was friendly and knowledgeable of the area (ask about the genuine speakeasy half a block down, you’ll need instructions and the secret code- it’s located in the equally famous Barfield hotel. Good rates are available
