Parking was easy. Nice comfy bed. Easy access inside to food areas. Would definitely use again.
Very clean and welcoming. 100% I would recommend it if you're thinking of staying. One downfall is M6 Toll. But if you ask the staff they'll explain how to avoid it.
Wife went for a walk and was attacked
Comfortable with adequate sleep
Friendly and easy check in.
Room was perfect for my needs. Slept well. Room clean and bed comfy. It surprised me how quiet it was at night.
Took Winnie on her dog walk out of the grounds and wandered to see Chasewater.
I have no hesitation in recommending staying here.
Good service good location for what we needed
Very efficient on arrival in reception, room spacious, clean with plenty of hot water and towels. Everything worked as it should
Great for stopping with dogs - big grassy area for walking
The room was very spacious, the bathroom was clean and spacious as well the cleaning staff were wonderful, no one on the desk they didn’t have any one on there in the day so if you needed anything you had to go chase someone up in the retail area, no plug sockets by the bed and considering it was an accessible room you would think they would have them or at least one by the bed.
The overall experience was very positive but was marred by the extremely selfish couple in the adjoining room who came back at 1 am shouting at one another very loudly and the noise continued until past 3 am.
Clean and friendly
Bed uncomfortable, pillows too hard, really dated, bathroom units warped. Could tell the reception staff could not be bothered. Not worth the money, very overpriced.
Liked access into service station great if wet. Tired driving initially found it difficult to see and then find the entrance. Couldn’t get the fan to work no instructions or possibly broken.
This hotel provided a useful break on our trip from the Lake District to our home in Sussex. We traveled with our dog, who was well received.
No spare powerpoints by the bed for charging things
Ideal for a one night stay to break a journey. Staff were all friendly and chatty.
Check in was easy and staff friendly. Room comfortable although tv was very pixelated and did not work for more than a few mins. Reported to cleaner in the morning as no one on reception when I left.
Fire alarm woke everyone at 05.10am. No one to tell us what had happened though as no staff on duty.Found out it was someone has a shower and bathroom door was left open and this set the alarm off.
The bath had mildew around the bath
One set of towels for two people!
Slept well lovely and peaceful. Very pleasant Receptionist at Check-in Amy...helpful.
