such a great little home away from home for 3 nights. Comfy sofa, great bed and plenty of space
I had asked for a ground floow room and I was upstairs so had to take multiple loads upstarirs for my 3 night stay

Whilst located opposite a really good pub the location is industrial with no other dining options in comfortable walking distance.

The grounds are nice, the room was big and very clean, nice wrap around veranda, plenty of car parking. The bed was so comfortable!
I thought the staff member could have been more professional. I interrupted her phone call on check which she couldn't wait to get back to, no welcome or information - just pay and go. No information or notice on how to get into the hotel the next day when the roads all around were closed off. We drove 8 hours to get there and know nothing about the area so things like being more welcoming and information would have gone along way instead of feeling like a pest.
Love the spa bath and comfortable bed. I have stayed here quite a few times, and it was a nice touch this stay to have a complimentary tray in the room with snacks and water.
Friendly and welcoming staff. The property has loads of character and charm.
The cleaning team probably need a little more support around general dusting and wipe overs of glass and light fixtures.
Would be lovely to get that outdoor garden fountain working again.
