If I could rate this place 1 million stars, I would.
Located in a gorgeous and large property, very high end accommodations, clean, comfortable, quiet, safe, well located, great-amazing friendly and very helpful staff providing delicious meals, very good tips and concierge service (Felipe is the manager and is the best and nicest fella around).

Acomodação bem ampla, ficamos em uma casinha, com sala e varanda embaixo, suíte e varanda em cima. Tudo de muito bom gosto, limpo e bem conservado. Ótimo atendimento. Bem localizado,próximo ao quadrado.

A melhor pousada que já fiquei em Trancoso. Os quartos são casas qie ficam num terreno repleto de vegetação da mata atlântica. Um espetáculo. O staff extremamante simpático e prestativo, fazendo de tudo para que sua estadia seja a melhor possível. E isso tudo a poucos passos do Quadrado. Com certeza voltaremos.

Bem localizada, proximo ao quadrado e contando com staff maravilhoso. O filipe que comanda sempre atencioso, as meninas da cozinha aline e adriana e os rapazes in loco sempre sorrindo e simpaticos. Casa linda e bem decorada, ampla, e cafe da manha maravilhoso.

My husband and I visited for three nights and our stay could not have been better. The villa had everything we needed and was spacious and comfortable. We loved having the privacy of our own patio and upper deck to relax and listen to the birds.
Filipe the manger was very attentive and helpful. He took great care of us! A table by the pool was set out for us every morning for a delicious breakfast. Filipe had good suggestions for dining in town and also arranged a spot for us at a local beach club for the afternoon.
We did a couple of adventures-biking and UTV-and Filipe helped arrange both of those.
The town was a short walk away and is lovely and there were so many restaurants it was hard to choose! Lots of shopping and also a nightly local market on the square.
I would love to go back again sometime!

The hotel is beautiful and all the staff took great care of us while we were there. They serve incredible local food for breakfast and lunch and the Manager Felipe helped organised our visits everyday around Trancoso. We would dedinitely go back

Beautiful piece of paradise. The villas are spacious, clean and equipped with everything you need. We were four couples, split in two villas and there were bedrooms to spare. The location is not on the beach (which appears to be typical of many hotels in Trancoso), but the pool is very nice. It is a very short walking distance (5 minutes) to the center of town and all the fabulous restaurants, bars and shops.

Beach clubs are the way to go and there are plenty to choose from - close by (20minute walk/10 minute cab) and far away (1 hr cab).

Filipe, the manager and concierge, is AMAZING. He takes care of everything - bookings, taxis, recommendations, etc and his response time is immediate. The staff are all friendly, kind and accommodating.

The included breakfast is very good - different offerings each day and also a set menu of local food and traditional breakfast options.

If you are headed to Trancoso, definitely consider staying at Etnia!

From start to finish everything was perfect. We were a group of 8 and Filipe really looked after us booking us beach clubs, restaurants and taxis, nothing was a problem. The breakfast was amazing, pretty much anything you could possibly want and the local specialities were incredible. We stayed in two villas they were furnished beautifully and they both offered lots of space and comfy beds. We will return!

A nossa estadia no Etnia foi simplesmente maravilhosa. O hotel é lindo, super bem decorado, confortável, e digno de um hotel pra lá de cinco estrelas. O Felipe nos deu um suporte nota mil, sempre muito atencioso e simpático. Os quitutes da Aline são indescritíveis de bom!! Que delicia de café da manhã!! Não vejo a hora de voltar e super indico o Etnia!!!! Foi sensacional!!! Muito obrigada por nos receber tão bem!!!
