Historic gorgeous house in the best part of Granada, near a small river. Very atmospheric. Easy to walk to the Alhambra and even to the station. Although we took a taxi on the way back - easy too from the central square.
We had originally just booked a double, but swapped rooms with our friend, and had the Suite at the top as we were a couple and she was on her own, due to her husband not being able to come.
The room was wonderful in that it had an excellent view of the Alhambra. And it was spacious and very light.
Really excellent hotel cafe for breakfast.
Bizarrely there was nowhere to put our clothes other than a tiny wardrobe that already housed a safe and a fridge. It was such a big room they could have easily put in two chests of drawers. I ended up never unpacking!
The hotel lobby could been improved with plants.
Tiny thing but the main picture behind the reception desk is on a skew. Can't understand why they don't see this, and correct it, when they are so style conscious?

La habitación superior con vistas a la Alhambra es excelente:
- Ubicación (céntrica y bella), con vistas formidables (Carrera del Darro).
Cercanía a puntos de interés: Alhambra y Generalife, Albaicín, Sacromonte, Catedral,...
Y lo que no esté cerca es muy accesible mediante bus desde Plaza Nueva (~300m) o desde Gran Vía de Colón (~500m).
- La Limpieza es muy buena.
- La Cama con tres almohadones de diferente dureza y tamaño, es perfecta y poco frecuente en hoteles de precio asequible.
- Cuenta con cafetera y Nevera que mejora la estancia.
- También se agradece que cuenta con un banco para ubicar las maletas.
Aunque es una excelente opción en todos los aspectos, sólo tiene para mí una pequeña área de mejora (como a muchos hoteles) le faltaría un perchero de pared con 2 a 4 ganchos en los que colgar abrigos o bolso/mochila cuando estás en la habitación. Aunque quede claro que esto es absolutamente prescindible frente a todo lo aporta la habitación.

I had a room without windows, except the window into the hallway. The shower is very big and wifi works well within the room. Checkin was easy and staff was friendly. The bus stops is in front of the hotel.
Even though the hotel is close to the Alhambra, the walking distance to the entrance is quite far. A window or fan/ventilation for fresh air would have been nice.
We found all the necessary toiletries in the bathroom, from shower gel to body lotion. It was also a very nice gesture to receive a bottle of delicious wine as a gift. The room was clean and well maintained, and there was always plenty of hot water. The hotel is in a great location, with most of the main attractions reachable within about 20 minutes. The staff were extremely kind and helpful.
There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like. Just a small suggestion, it would be nice to have an additional trash bin in the bedroom, not only in the bathroom. It would also be convenient if there were a mini fridge in the room. However, these are only minor details and did not take away from the overall experience of our stay.

Eine authentische Unterkunft mit allem Komfort, freundlichen Service und außergewöhnliche Lage. Wir hatten eine schöne Suite mit einem übergroßen Bett und einem tollen Ausblick auf die Alhambra. Das Frühstück konnte man direkt nebenan im Café zu sich nehmen und war sehr reichhaltig. Ist jedoch nicht im Zimmerpreis enthalten.
