Le Relais Du Roy

Clean hotel but like a Motel 6 in USA. This hotel is a little challenging to locate. They send you a code to get through the gate. Once you get through the gate the hotel is on your left. The check-in experience was very easy and they are nice. We proceeded to our room. There are NO elevators. We went to our room and it is pretty old and outdated but clean. Our electric went out at 11 pm and the fire alarm went off at 2 am. Not much sleep at this hotel. We were anxious to leave in the morning. The breakfast at this hotel was okay but no place else to eat at this remote location. It is extremely close to walk to Mont St. Michel and we did choose this hotel based on that fact alone.

Inaccurate room description.Hotel blamed Booking.com.Room with balcony and MS M view only had small window with no view.
Make sure you ask if your room with a balcony has a balcony. Might only be one room without but very unsatisfactory if you get this room.Reviews will probably vary according to to room allocation

As expected from a 3 star hotel, lady at reception when we checked in was very nice and helpful. A bit dated but we knew that. Good stay overall

Close to St Michels. Short free shuttle bus away with shuttle running every 10 mins. Would recommend not staying in a hotel on island itself. Would be to hard to carry or wheel luggage from shuttle the final distance and the up step cobble stone road to hotel!

Location was great! WiFi did not work well.

Even though the building seems to be old, the room is clean with updated bathroom. The window doesn’t have screen so when it’s opened at night, bugs can get in. Hotel doesn’t have air conditioning but when we stayed, the weather was cool. The only thing we didn’t like is the floor that has steps at entry of every room. It was inconvenient to hand carry the luggage to our room by stairs as the hotel does not have an elevator. Staffs are nice.

We had room with small window, no balcony as described and as per booking, meaning no view of Mont Saint Michel.

Hotel argued about description of room and our booking.

Hotel said offered breakfast as compensation, but we did not know about this "offer" until we came down after breakfast finished, and reception said they would have offered it if we had come down earlier!

Misleading and unpleasant experience, disappointing, arguments ....totally unacceptable

Great stay close to the Mont St Michel

This is a wonderful hotel. It’s basic but this is made up for the fact by the lovel staff .

The continental breakfast is adequate and if we bent our necks we had a wonderful view of the mont.

Out leaving words to the receptionist were ´see you again!!´

Everything was amazing . We had a lovely stay down there right next to Le mont Saint Michel just a crossed the bridge also plenty of restaurant around amenities and the souvenirs shop .
Highly recommend it .

Breakfast is not the best for the money but location is nice

Service was excellent. Front desk staff were really helpful and friendly. They made a dinner reservation for us which was great. The location was good and the room was comfortable.
