Pros:

Great location. We enjoyed that it wasn’t on Flores island, but still very close. It was quiet and had a great location on the lake. Restaurant was delicious

What you see online is not what you get!

Wir buchten das Hotel recht last minute, da wir spät mit dem Bus in Flores ankamen und recht wenige Optionen angezeigt bekamen. Die Bilder erschienen sehr einladend. Das Hotel wirkte wie ein gutes 4 Sterne Haus.
Zunächst bekam es die nur spärlich besetzte Rezeption nicht hin unsere Reservierung zuzuordnen. Zugang zum Computer war dem zuständigen Wachmann nicht möglich. Nach ca 30 Minuten kam dann jedoch eine zuständige Angestellte vorbei und gab uns den Schlüssel. Unser Zimmer lag dann in einem Komplex mit einigen anderen Zimmern, zwar mit Seeblick, allerdings auf der anderen Seite einem schäbig aussehenden Tümpel. Das Zimmer selbst war komplett heruntergekommen. Putz bröckelte von den Wänden. Es roch. Es war einfach eklig. Zu unserer Freude fingen morgens dann noch genau im Nebenzimmer die Handwerker um 8 Uhr an zu arbeiten. An Schlaf war dann gar nicht mehr zu denken. Unsere Beschwerden beim Checkout wurden zunächst versucht mit einer Entschuldigung abzuwenden. Nach gefühlt 15x hin und her und unserer Aussage, dass wir weder den geforderten Betrag zahlen, noch ein complimentary Frühstück als Entschuldigung akzeptieren würde, wurde uns eine Reduzierung um ca 50% angeboten, was wir dann annahmen.
Kurz um: absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Cons:

Good looking public area hides very over priced rooms. Balconies awful, dirty with paint splattered concrete, peeling woodwork and a rusty old air con. Very disappointed

Buen hotel en Flores
Pros:

Nos tocó una habitación con vista al lago, con balcón, fue una noche muy agradable. El restaurante del Hotel es lindo

Good hotel away fro the bustle, and smells, of the Flores Island with great lake views and restaurant.
Pros:

Nice location overlooking Peten lake and close to the airport. Excellent restaurant and surrounding environment.
