A Budget Stay that more expensive hotels could learn from- Pleasantly Surprised
Pros:

Let's be realistic, this is a budget hotel at a motorway services and I think offered excellent value. Yes the rooms are a bit dated but they clean so I think some people are mistaking wear and tear with cleanliness.
I think higher priced hotels could learn a lot off these guys. The staff were courteous and helpful, rooms were clean, facilities including decent size TV, free WiFi, free parking. Decent quality tea tray in the room (Yorkshire Tea) and there were even a couple of chocolates from the team as a little treat.
Note. There is a service road for use by hotel guests to get you to the Southbound M5 and the staff will provide a map to get to it if required.
Overall, for me it was only meant to be a bed for the night but I was pleasantly surprised.

Comfortable and basic
Pros:

We have stayed at Days Inn before, so knew what to expect, you get what you pay for and this hotel was ok.
We are a family of 4 and a dog, so we had the double and 2 single beds so was a bit of a tight squeeze.
Beds were comfy, pillows were very thin so needed 2 each.
Considering we were in one of the rooms closest to the motorway the car noise was minimal and we all slept well.
Shower was good with good pressure.
Handy having so many options for food and shopping close by and ample parking.
Unfortunately, very rough and ready, various hairs in the shower (which werent ours) and towels werent changed when requested via hanger on door.
Hairdryer and fan available in room and window has net as well as blackout curtains.

Pros:

Convenient location to Tewksbury and motorway links. Ideal having service shops onsite. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Negative was the room doesn't have aircon and we found the room to be extremely hot! Fan was provided in the room but still we found room 16 on the ground floor very hot. It was a hot day that we stayed. No fridge in room for baby's milk. Overall we were happy witht he hotel and stay for what we paid. Thanks.

Surprisingly decent Days Inn, great value don’t be put off by a service stop hotel!
Pros:

This Days Inn ‘no frills’ stay totally exceeded expectations. Checking in was straight forward, we spotted a corner with children’s books to borrow and printed colouring sheets (nice touch by staff). Our family room is roomy, bathroom is ok, with a bath too. (Remember it’s a hotel for quick stop over). Internet is smooth. The tea and coffee station is generous (and they use Clipper tea, defo bonus points!) and son thinks it’s the best hotel ever to have dairy milk and Milky Way chocolate in the tea and coffee tray. We have another 8 hours on the road tomorrow and I’m so pleased to have picked this by a service station and overall pleasant first time Days Inn experience. There are plenty of electric charging stations outside too.

Does the job and meets expectations
Pros:

Simple, reasonable. Roadside hotel so dont expect much but does the job if you need a couple of days to stay on a family trip - only con was that it was incredibly hot, they did provide a fan but still boiling. Though wont knock them as it was during a heat wave. My partner loved the shower- very powerful and good coverage

Pros:

Property was clean, staff friendly and helpful. No AC in a heat wave with window only opening a few inches. Property provided a small fan but no outlets near the window to pull in cooler air at night.

Pros:

The bathroom was a little tired although functional. The bed only has a duvet and no sheets so when hot it is difficult to keep cool. As it was very hot, we used the desktop fan which was available but when it was switched on my wife got smothered in dust. Okay for a one nighter which is what most guests do I think.

Pros:

Your email sent on Sunday & seen on Tuesday, would have been fine if received before we left home on Saturday! We found the farmyard & the North bound service station after a phone call to your HQ. The directions to the southbound area would have been better if the distance between the exit and the bridge had not looked so short!
Hindsight is a wonderful thing. A.R.Gattward.;

It is an average place not worth for the money.
Pros:

Rooms are not clean an old rooms. Breakfast is poor. Some light were not working and I had to call the staff to fix it. Only good thing is that parking facilities is better as this hotel located in a with in the service compound. Other than that I would not recommend anyone to stay.
