A good night's rest
Pros:

The room and the hotel were clean and in very good condition. The breakfast was typical hotel buffet, with a wide assortment. My traveling friend and I both commented to each other the next day that the mattresses in each of our rooms were great. (I was feeling my back problem begin to ramp up the day before the trip began, and was concerned about hotel beds, so I especially welcomed the excellent back support.) Told my wife if she ever had to stay in McAlester (her family was from there), try the LaQ.

We slept well and appreciated the room change.
Pros:

After being placed in a horrible room - damp, smelly with dried animal pee on the floor, we were accommodated with a new, clean and comfortable room.

Cons:

First room was unfit for anyone to stay in. Last room on first floor, right side as you look at hall exit.
