lovely time in a lovely city but disappointed with the misleading description of the "suite"
Pros:

Location was excellent, the room was clean, good facilities The staff were kind, friendly and efficient
Sadly the hotel was booked as a "Suite" and the price reflected this. This was not a suite. Just one single room, and not very big at that. It was very disappointing to find this.

Cons:

The information describing this accommodation as a "suite" It is totally misleading.

Although all the staff in the restaurant and in reception were friendly, efficient and always helpful we felt there was very limited choice of menu for the main meals

Unfortunately disappointing of the above reasons
Cons:

It was just before the Ironman event in Aix-en-Provence. When I tried to reserve parking, I discovered that it was no longer possible. It was also impossible to drive to the hotel reception due to access restrictions. As a result, I had to park about 800 meters away and carry my luggage to the hotel.

What disappointed me most was that the hotel did not inform me about these difficulties in advance. I only learned about the situation when I attempted to arrange parking. The only information I received was a voice message, which I was unable to locate until it was too late to make alternative arrangements.

There was also no gesture of goodwill or compensation for the inconvenience—not even something as simple as offering a complimentary coffee.

Had I known about these access and parking issues beforehand, I would probably have cancelled my reservation. Dragging heavy suitcases from a distant parking lot was not how I imagined starting my stay, especially when I was looking forward to a pleasant evening in the city center.

The hotel itself is nice, and I have no complaints about the property. However, the parking situation, the lack of clear communication, and the absence of any empathy from the staff significantly affected my overall experience.
