Great food, lovely staff, comfy bed.
Room was exceptionally hot. I appreciated the Dyson fan in the room but there's only so much it can do when it's circulating hot air. The towel rail couldn't be turned off (in July!) and the window only opens a few inches. The night outside was cool, but I was living in a greenhouse and got no sleep.
I'm sure it's a lovely room when it's not summer.

Location, clean room overall, helpful staff
Toilet seat needed to be replaced, very unhygienic..can’t believe it’s not been noticed by housekeepers
Lovely staff, very welcoming. I was in one of the rooms in the adjacent building, and the room was enormous. The building itself is an older building but it is equipped with modern tech, such as a Dyson fan. Excellent bed, lots of sachets of coffee so you do not have to plan and ration your little coffee treats. A brilliant place to stay and I will go back there in the future.
Gorgeous room…totally soundproof even though its on the high street. Fantastic staff, great location
No complaints at all. Will definitely come again
Nice room. Good food. Good location.

Conveniently situated
Room was too hot, summer heatwave
Room was spacious, clean and bed and pillows extremely comfortable . Furnished beautifully and characterful
The rooms were separated from the pub .
The owners had made an effort to keep the room cool .
Breakfast was good and we ( and 12 others purchased an evening meal ) all meals very good !
Just no car parking but thats not really their fault .. in a high street location and they found us somewhere to park
The breakfast was nice.
I paid £195 each night for a superior room, this price should be for a five star experience. I stay often and the room I have a few weeks before was beautiful. The room I was given was terrible, small, cobwebs, no charging points, not cleaned whilst I was there, no bath.
Location, size of the room, staff and beds and shower
So noisy next to the kitchen and staff talking and noises late into the night
The rooms are advertised to sleep 3. I booked this for 3 of my workers. They were told on arrival that this was incorrect and had to book a separate room.
The room was large and comfortable. It had everything you needed. We appreciated having the air con given the heat. We didn't experience the noise others had commented on.
Overall a positive stay and value for money.
Overall a positive
We felt the entrance area before they rooms was a bit off putting and could do with some updating as could some aspects of the room.
Great room, quiet and the breakfast is the best ever, thank you
Great location, very clean and very comfortable beds!
Great food atmosphere and drinks downstairs as well.
It got a little noisy on Friday and Saturday night, but to be expected when you are staying above a pub.
