Silas from the front desk was super friendly and super friendly.

We had an ocean facing room, excellent view.

The location of the property and the size of the room is perfect. All rooms have sea-facing balcony and and a small kitchen which is added advantages.
The only drawback was the plumbing.. the water was either very hot or cold. It was a struggle to get it mixed perfectly..

Beautiful water views from the room. Nice pool and restaurant. Certainly stay here again.

Nice and close to town

The location is good and the view from the rooms is beautiful. They all face the water.

However, towels were dirty, I only managed to have one hot shower in 2 days - the rest were all cold, with no hot water all weekend.

Food at the ‘bistro’ is very basic, still expensively priced, and not at all fresh. I’ve had better fruit salad from a can - which was $10.

The pool is fine, small but was clean and warm.

We had a few nights at Chantilly’s to settle in the city before heading out of town. The resort is clean and tidy with incredible views over the water. Sunsets are amazing. Nice and close to downtown Port Vila being an easy 15 min walk along the boardwalk.

Credit Card Fraud.
This August 2023 I traveled to Vanuatu to perform voluntary assistance to the dental/hospital in Port Villa.
My patron booked and paid to stay at Chantill's via Expedia.
On arrival, my credit card details was requested for any sundry charges, although there would be none as my patron was supporting my voluntary contribution to Vanuatu's health system. On departure my patron paid my sundry costs.
My stay at Chantill's was pleasant, however irreversibly soured by their fraudulent behavior.

On returning to Australia, I noted 2 addition nights accommodation charges totaling AU$460.55 applied to my credit card.
After numerous communications between my patron, confirming the booking and stay had already been paid for.
At this time Chantill's has not returned those total funds to my credit card.
For me, this constitutes a form of International fraud or scam on behalf of Chantill's.
With all the booking details and payments confirmed back to Chantill's, this can not be mistake or clerical error.

On return to Australia I found two additional days charges on my credit card even though it was prepaid through yourselves. My advice, do not give them your credit card details.

Our pre-paid room was billed out onto a credit card twice more on the day after departure. Reception staff are either fraudulent or incompetent. Don't allow them use of a credit card at reception. Totally dishonest.

The room wise tidy but not really clean and it stunk of cigarette smoke. The noise from the Banyan bar next door was really really loud (we were getting up at 4am to get to the airport for a 7am departure). The sliding doors out to the balcony didn't work propery and needs new runners(one of the doors fell out when i initially opened it), it did lock though. Water pressure in both hot and cold taps and shower was great. Sheets and pillow cases were nice and clean and the bed was comfortable, unfortunately there were no blankets. Overall for what it costs we will stay elsewhere in the future. On a positive note we will continue to come here for meals, the super seed salads are Awesome.
