I'm disappointed
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

The pool and the wellness were in a different building and it was £15/person/day. Also on the website it says £10/person for breakfast. I wanted to book it but it was not in the building. It is disappointing these important informations were not clarified in the description.

Cons:

When I reached the hotel they advised they could not honour my booking as we are blacklisted from the property. There had been no prior communication from them to advise this before booking. They also advised they received the booking via Expedia (who I have contacted and they have confirmed this is not the case).

We had to find alternative accommodation at another nearby hotel which has had a financial impact. Advised they had requested a refund however they confirmed and accepted our booking and then advised they would mark us as no shows which based on T&C’s would prevent us from getting a refund.

Pros:

Location is ideal and the room, especially the bed, was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very nice.

Cons:

We had hoped to use the pool, but hotel guests are charged £15 each for a day pass and as we were only staying one night the £15 each charge was excessive for a couple of hours.

Rooms need updating. Not a spa break hotel - the swimming pool & gym etc are an additional cost and in another building.

Broken sleep due to how loud other guests were.
Pros:

The staff were nice and the room was decent plus free parking.

Cons:

I was woken up around 1am by people shouting and arguing in the corridor outside my room / adjacent rooms. It went on for a long time and they had to be removed. Lost about 2hrs sleep which really was disappointing when wanting to sleep and rest well for the next day.

Relaxing
Pros:

Had a spa day followed by an overnight stay. The facilities are very relaxing, massages very good and hotel room very clean and homely with tea/coffee, hairdryer, iron etc. Staff were very friendly and attentive and happy to go above and beyond to help. Would 100% recommend booking
