For the price I got, this was a wonderful winner.
Pros:

Excellent location. Well kept space, and lots of select your own in room amenities at the front desk, including skincare. Really lovely Japanese breakfast every morning. I went a couple days easily without lunch with the hearty and filling choices at breakfast.

Cons:

My room was a bit on the traditionally small and outdated side. While still perfectly functional, lack of countertop in the bathroom was a challenge. Thankfully the nice desk space in the room had a mirror and good light.

Centralt, bra hotell nära allt
Pros:

Mycket bra läge på en tvärgata till den stora gatan som leder till Himeji slott. Både nära till tågstationen, slottet och Kokoen trädgård. Fick enkelrum på 7e våningen. Ljust o fint. Tillräckligt stort med säng, skrivbord och stol. Badrum med badkar. Internet bra.
Specialbuss, mörkgrön, går direkt fr tågstationen till Himeji slott. Ca 180 yen.

Cons:

Man behöver en annan internet anslutning för att kunna se på TV ( casta eller mirroring). Den försvann efter ett tag och sedan gick den anslutningen inte att hitta. Peronalens språkkunskaper nära noll så gick inte bra förklara och fixa.
Frukosten helt japansk och inget för västerlänningar förutom äggröra.

Pros:

Gut gelegenes Hotel, fußläufig zur Burg. Sehr freundliches Personal. Schöne Dachterrassd mit Blick auf die Burg.

Pros:

Man kann abends von der Dachterrasse sehr schön auf die angestrahlte Burg schauen. Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Direkt nebenan gibt es eine Einkaufspassage, in der man alles findet, was man so brauchen oder auch nicht brauchen kann. Das Personal im Hotel ist sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, man merkt, daß es schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen ist. Es gab kein Wasser wie in den anderen Hotels. Die Betten waren sehr hart.

良い旅行の思い出となった。長距離移動だったが翌日に疲れが残らなかった。
Pros:

バイクを置かせて頂いたが、翌日フェリーに乗るために早朝から行動するにもかかわらず、バイクが置いてあるフェンスの鍵を開けておいてくれた。

Cons:

屋上から姫路城をソファに座りながら見れるのはもっとアピールして良いと思った。
