All the staff, including the receptionists, bellboys, maintenance team, and banquet staff, were very kind and friendly. The rooms are well equipped for families and long-term stays, with essential appliances such as an iron, refrigerator, electric stove, kitchen utensils, and a washing machine provided.

Cons:

The hotel is located some distance away from affordable food courts and restaurants. Fortunately, food delivery services are readily available.
Parking is chargeable at RM10 per exit, which may be inconvenient for guests with their own vehicles. Alternatively, guests can make use of the shuttle van service or take a taxi.

Somerset is a great place to stay because of the comfort it goves and also accesible to KL nearby

Pros:

I like every single things during my stay at Somerset....helpfull staff, amazing & clean room...but hopefully you can improve on breakfast...it's a shame not having buffet breakfast at your place

Very inconvenient hotel location. At night, there is almost nothing nearby to eat, and even getting a Grab/taxi is troublesome because the traffic around this area is terrible.

The staff attitude was also disappointing. Not friendly, not helpful, and overall poor service experience.

Another uncomfortable point is that the hotel is connected to a hospital in the same building. It does not feel relaxing or suitable for a holiday stay. For smokers, it is even more inconvenient because smoking restrictions are very strict due to the hospital next door.

Considering the expensive price, this hotel is definitely not worth it. There are far better hotels in Kuala Lumpur with better service, better convenience, and a much better environment.

Would not stay here again.

Pros:

The hotel environment was not ideal. It is located next to a hospital, and the main road in front of the hotel was under maintenance, causing a lot of dust and air pollution.

The traffic in this area is extremely congested. Although the hotel is close to the Petronas Twin Towers, we wasted a lot of time stuck in traffic every day.

On top of that, the price is quite expensive compared to what the hotel offers. At this price range, there are many better options available in Kuala Lumpur.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel’s location is very good. It’s close to almost everything. And it’s clean ! Thanks for that.

Cons:

What I disliked the most was the breakfast. In the description, it says the breakfast is good, but it really isn’t. Some of the food seemed like leftovers.
If you wake up late, you may miss it. When I complained, I was told, “first come, first served.” Seriously? It’s my vacation, and I paid for that service. We went to the lobby around 9 a.m., so there was still an hour and a half left for breakfast. If the food runs out, they should prepare more for the guests. I’m still in Kuala Lumpur, but I changed the hotel because of that unfortunately.
Also, some of the information given at the reception was incorrect. The staff should also follow up with customers to check whether they still need help or if their problem has been resolved when something happens. Thanks.
