Un petit cocon sur St-Jean pour un prix top
Pros:

Le bâtiment historique adorablement biscornu et hyper cozy. Mise à part le fait qu'on arrive en self-checkin, il y a tout pour avoir l'impression d'arriver chez de la famille.

Cons:

Il vaut mieux ne pas avoir de gros bagages pour pouvoir grimper les escaliers.

Perfecte locatie, in de buurt prima ontbijten, lunchen en dineren.
Gezellige gezamenlijke zitkamer en
eetkeuken voorzien van koelkast, magnetron, serviesgoed.
Alles netjes en schoon.

Cons:

Onze hoekkamer (nr.4) en toilet/doucheruimte waren erg klein. Geen top kamer voor grote-en/of dikke mensen

Good location and decent auberge
Pros:

- Excellent location with lots of dining options around
- a good quality auberge if this is what you are looking for, with fridges at disposal and a shared dining area
- responsive fully online reception
- clean and quiet guests

Cons:

- the price quality ratio was not interesting - 140€ per night for a room (chambre 8) without breakfast that remains very basic and not charming at all. We were mostly quite disappointed compared to the booking.com pictures which showed spacious and colourful rooms, ours was small and grey.

Perfectly fine for an auberge but not at this price - we still give it an 8 as our stay was during the fetes de la saint Jean which hopefully explain the high prices vs medium quality stay.

Good set up for use of space, and had enough items in the kitchenette for a few days stay.

Cons:

It's implied there's staff available, even for limited hours. There isn't. It's a remote check in. Other guests were under the same impression. There also NO ground floor rooms - the property is the 2st & 3nd floors of the building (others guests told us they asked for rooms on the lower floor- anyone with common sense would understand they assumed rooms would be available at ground level).

Getting in was difficult, as the entrance leaves no room to drop bags (too bad if it's raining). Steps are steep & the hand rails not particularly sturdy.
The instructions for finding the 3rd floor was incomplete & didn't clarify there was 2 sets of stairs from the 1st floor.
Once in, there's no issue.
