Please note that guests booking 5 rooms or more and guests booking 28 nights or more will be charged a 50% deposit at the time of booking. This payment is nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

Disappointing
Pros:

The restaurant is halal certified. The TV is smart TV.

Cons:

The receptionist took some time to assist me during check in. At other hotel, at least the receptionist will have some courtesy to smile and inform you that they are attending other matter at their computer, instead of ignoring the guest standing at the counter.

There are no designated parking spot.

The room looks good in the app, but feels cheap the moment you enter the room.

The bed is uncomfortable.

The air-conditioning is old.

There are better hotels with better prices in the vicinity.

There are quite a number of massage parlour around the hotel.

The breakfast buffet is decent, almost average.

The pictures posted in the advertisement is quite deceiving, giving me impression that this is a good hotel. It's not a good hotel, just an 'okay' hotel. If there are no other option from better hotel nearby, you can stay here.

Will not repeat my stay here. With this price, I can get better hotel nearby.

Convenient location
Pros:

Good location as it's just opposite City Square. Don't need to take grab at all.
Check in time of 2pm and check out time of 12pm is very generous.

Cons:

Walls are thin and we could hear conversations from people in the corridor. Interior is dated but clean enough.

Worst staff and customer service
Pros:

The staff and service
Very rude and they can put our clothes and bags outside the room even I have personally call the reception and inform I have extend another day
We both agreed however when I rerun back the clothes and bags was outside

They don’t even bother to call me to check even I have them my contact details together email

The worst experience ever.

Stayed here for 2D1N shopping trip. Room is large enough for our luggages and shopping items. Good shower and in room
Pros:

Clean and location. Easy to find the hotel (just across the road from OUB bank next to JB City Square. Check in/check out process is no fuss. Bed sheets, pillows and towels are clean.

Pros:

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Citrus Hotel. It’s a great location for transiting into Singapore, or to Johor Baru airport due to its walking proximity to KL Sentral and going to or from Singapore. It has 24 hour reception so we know we can still check in if our plane is late or we are arriving late night. We also love that it has 12pm check out.
