Beautiful hotel located in the Town Hall Square right on the river. It offered beautiful views from our Privilege Room. Our room was ready early which was a wonderful bonus as we were exhausted from carrying bags all morning from the airport. The macchiato at breakfast was fantastic.
I do wish hair conditioner and lotion were offered as toiletries. We ended up making a trip to the pharmacy to purchase some as my hair and skin were very dry. I typically do not pack these items when staying in hotels.
Quiet, clean, in the middle of the old town and 6 minutes walk from the train station.

In der Dusche ein Rutschfestes Dekchen und evtl ein Haltegriff zum Aussteigen. Sonst warst super.

Super dog-friendly hotel in Downtown Thun. Highly recommended! No parking, but you can unload directly in front of the hotel and covered parking is a 5 minute walk away.

Die Lage vom Hotel ist sehr zentral, das ist gut.
Bei unserem Aufenthalt war es so, dass unmittelbar vor dem Hotel auf dem zentralen Platz eine grosse öffentlich Veranstaltung (unter Beteiligung des Hotels) mit sehr hohem Geräuschpegel bis weit in die Nacht hinein stattgefunden hat - das hätte das Hotel vorab bekanntgeben können. Insofern war an Schlaf und Erholung nicht ansatzweise zu denken - ganz im Gegenteil.
Das Zimmer und dessen Ausstattung sowie die Einrichtungen des Hotels sind eher "old-fashion" was dann zu einem eher enttäuschenden Preis-Leistungsverhältnis führt!

The staff was helpful and wonderful
Poor location at night you can’t sleep because of the people drinking and chatting and laughing out side my window and In the morning, there’s significant noise disturbance from luggage being dragged/wheeled near the window. The floor is made of small tiles/blocks, which amplifies the sound and makes it quite loud.

We drove down for the Thurnersee spectacle Grease & decided to stay over. Had a wonderful experience! Though the hotel is located in the old town you can drive down to the public parking take a lift 7 floors down, transit a well lit Swiss passage & you are in the hotel. The staff were attentive & helpful. We had called & mentioned that due to weather the spectacle could be cancelled. "No problem" said Frau Blatter & she reserved a room for me for the next scheduled day. Luckily it was not needed. You can walk around the old town & enjoy the evening. There is a free Panorama pass provided for your to use public transport & the view from the room was great! The glass windows open out to a turquoise blue river & the swiss mountains. The bath was the best! So tempting & stands alone in a nice coveted spot in the suit.
