The hotel had cockroaches

It was close to shopping and restaurants, but it was very noisy. Specially at night time you feel like you’re sleeping in the street they have control on your air condition in the room that they keep shutting down so you come back to her room or while you’re sleeping suddenly they don’t get hot because they shut the air condition from downstairs the breakfast in the morning, very limited cold, I was running out so better breakfast buffet and the worst thing happen. The elevator got stuck with my mom inside and when they open the door on her, all they say is you could use downstairs not even check on her or saying how are you doing or saying even I’m sorry and my mom is 74 years old and another thing you have to go about 20 stairs to get into the hotel from the Main St. so it’s not a handicap, friendly or senior citizen friendly

It’s a walk distance to the takseem but you have to go up stairs to get to the reception ,, the elevator got stuck with my mom once and didn’t even say I’m sorry for it, the breakfast buffet was small and not a lot of varieties cold and they run a lot of time out of some items not what’s look like in the pictures and we find out that they shut the air condition couple hours every day for the rooms so they have a control from downstairs on the Air condition in your room and it’s a lot of noise all night long from the outside when you’re trying to sleep you feel like you’re in the middle of the street cars with loud noises and there is no noise barrier we have two rooms one in the third and one in the sixth floor and we still heard noises from outside

The check in and check out easy, Staff very kind and kind, The price was good, we left the hotel to continue our vacation in turkiye and we have reserved room in this hotel for two days before our return to Canada as our check out time and the nice management offered us a discount also. We recommend everybody to stay at this hotel in Istanbul.

Too noisy, windows and door are not soundproof

We were abruptly woken up at 4 am by a deafening drilling noise! the walls were literally shaking. I called the reception to ask what was going on, they casually told me, "WE ARE FIXING THE ELEVATOR"!!
Another ridiculous issue: The Air conditioner switch was on the ceiling, not on the wall! and there was no remote control provided to turn it on or off! We had to put a chair under the panel just to be able to reach it!

Then we called and asked for an iron, they brought one, but it has a UK Plug!! and it didn't even fir the sockets in the Hotel in Istanbul!!
Overall the Service was terrible, and I absolutely do not recommend this Hotel!

Flott beliggenhet med dyre butikker og restauranter i området , .

Hotellet er mye eldre enn det det ser ut som på bilde. Sengen er ikke komfortabel. Dusjdøra hang løs, håndkle feste hang løs. Mye var gammelt. Bildene man ser før reservasjonen stemmer ikke hilsen ung par fra Norge. . Dette er gamle bilder .

Damene som hadde renhold på hotellet var veldig flinke. Eneste som var bra med hotell var renhold av rommet .

Frokost som var inkludert var heøt grei, eneste som var dårlig var at vi hadde 5.netter opphold og det var samme mat hver dag , kunne bytte på litt .

Var dårlig service med varmt vann til te etc. Var alltid tomt så man måtte spørre. . Også måtte man helt ned til resepsjonen får å hente seg dette og kaffe hver gang man hadde lyst på varm drikke

Convenient and friendly staff

The place is due for renovation. Lift lobby is sensor lighting which will turn off within couple of second if no moving, and the lobby became black out. External noise from the night life nearby might disrupt the sleep. Breakfast is average. Convenient location to Taksim Square and direct bus (in front of Point Hotel) to Istanbul airport.

Perfect location if you are in a transit and need to be close to the airport buses and also in the center of the city. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in Taksim. A Better property than the cheap $20 locations further down.

Over all is a very good place
