Breakfast was very good
Staff were sooo kind
Fabulous staff
Lovely big room with direct access to outside(perfect as we had our dog with us)
Comfy beds
Lovely products
Great evening meal
Vast choice at Breakfast, double bonus points for having crumpets !!
Safely secure parking
Good deal on cocktails in the bar
Dogs not allowed in bar.
I still think £30 for the dog is a bit much.
Rooms could have been closer together and food less expensive. Quite a way to walk to the rooms, also
The property is, Beautiful! Mansion like/Home like/. I am not a fan of high rise buildings. I like the idea of walking upstairs if the lift is busy. So quiet, no traffic noise, room was clean, big and well equipped.Iron, fan and complimentary tea, coffee biscuits…
These are some of the reasons I like MHS. BW. 👍
None.
The check in, parking and staff were great, but the room was very tired with significant damage. Not in keeping with a name brand hotel
Lots of damage and stains in the room. Not really what you’d expect of a BW hotel?
Clean and generally helpfull staff but person on reception not interested about lack of air con and sleep
No Air con very hot bedroom
The breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Lovely mattress pillows had a good rest.
No air conditioning!! a fan was on the table but it only blew hot air around so temperature in room was just not cool enough. This spoilt my expectations of the room
I also felt the room was very small.
Stayed there for the Def leppard gig at the NEC.
The Staff were a big highlight as they were great in customer service standards and friendly/helpful.
The food in the Marco Pierre white restaurant was fabulous, the best burger I tasted. The breakfast was a good standard too.
The room was ok and had what you needed for a comfortable stay. The room was cleaned well too, two positives as well was that the bed was nice and the shower was a very good pressure too.. Great size of TV but we didn't watch it too much anyway.
The staff located us to an upper floor room as requested and that was very much appreciated.
The hotel is well maintained too.
Unfortunately due to location, of which wasn't the fault of the hotel but taxis to and from the hotel was a hassle as quite a few taxi firms either couldn't locate the hotel on their systems or couldn't go to the NEC as the postcode of the hotel is a Coventry postcode.
So that was an issue but we managed to get sorted out in the end. Uber was a hectic issue too.
The taxi firm recommended to us through the receptionist at the hotel didn't understand me on the phone too, which was frustrating.
The room and furniture had stains on areas and looked tired in places but that's a age of the hotel thing but the stains need looking at especially on carpet and lamp shades.
The pillows I had a issue getting comfortable with but my wife was ok with them so personal choice to be honest. No Aircon but not advertised as such anyway, provided a fan which a nice touch especially as it was a hot weather weekend, Aircon in such a lovely treaty hotel it is, be great though.
So the 8/10 score I gave was fair.
Manager didn’t organise breakfast fo
