Good overall
The free, secure parking was a real bonus. The hotel is easy to find and is in a very pleasant location. The room was large, well appointed and perfect for our stay.
There was a school prom on when we were there and although it was no problem at all to our stay, it would be good to inform guests on booking
Location, staff and facilities were superb
The pillowcase on the bed had makeup on from a previous guest.
good ground floor room, important as my wife has mobility problems. Breakfasts very good quality. Bar was quite expensive, but cheaper than the pub up the road. The restaurant was really very good.
The music in the dining/breakfast room. It consisted of a jazz version of "Riders of the storm" which played in an 8 minute loop, constantly repeating. I never want to hear it again.
Location, location, location. I arrived very late from the airport and so it was very convenient to stay there and drive in the morning.
The outside of the hotel and the public areas inside, the restaurant and reception for example are to a very high standard. However this does not continue inside the rooms. There is dated wooden furniture, combination bath + shower and no air conditioning. The rooms are lacking the wow factor which you see outside. The room was quite small and actually I had paid more to upgrade the room so I have no idea how small a standard double room is.
Location.. nice Grand looking building
Super convenient for the airport

Loved the breakfast and the superb helpful, friendly staff throughout the hotel. The room was beautifully clean and well equipped with comfy beds. The hotel outstripped our expectations!
nothing to dislike!
Well placed for what we were needing, plenty of places to go eat as it’s so expensive in the hotel
It is way too dated, there needs to be a fresh interior in the whole hotel, the rooms don’t have a tv that is even HD and for £100 a night that’s the least you expect, there’s no forewarning that when you want to leave the hotel in your car you have to go to the check in desk to get a code that you then have to walk all the way back to your car to enter, for the price of the stay you’d expect there to be an LPR camera or something to let you out.
The hotel just needs to be brought forward in terms of it being stuck in the 90s and it would be well worth the money
Very nice hotel. Great room, good eating and drinking facilities. All round very nice.
The weather. Unfortunately....
Good breakfast and restaurant meal's
Lovely hotel easy parking and helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay. A treat for us.
Staff was very understanding and helpful
Beautiful crisp white bed linen. Very clean bathroom.
Carpet and curtains dated.
A couple of lovely ladies on reception and in the restaurant who were very helpful, cheerful and got things done.
No consistency. Some staff members went above and beyond others couldn’t pick up the phone to chase something. One night £70 another time triple. Some rooms lovely others awful. Some food amazing other times shocking.
But mainly the lack of management over the place really let it down. There’s a don’t care feel about the place.
