I really enjoyed my stay here. It felt like a little bit of luxury. It's a very impressive building, looks great at night when lit up.
I had a large comfortable room. The bed was comfortable and great pillows, 2 normal ones and 2 square ones that were extra soft and I could just sink into.
Large TV. Had everything I needed. Even extra supplies as service team left a bag outside my (do not disturb) room with clean towels, and extra toiletries and tea and coffee etc.
Breakfast was a help yourself buffet, but unlike others I have had like this were the food tends to be a bit bog standard and dried up, this was actually all fresh and good quality. I very much enjoyed my breakfast, and it wasn't too busy either so was able to served myself straight away.

I could not fathom the radiator! after the first night of putting up with it just being a bit chilly, I asked for assistance for the second night. They got it to come on, but only by turning it up to 30% and then when I turned it back down it turned itself off, and had to reboot it again a couple of times. Should have instructions!
Took ages for the water to get hot in the shower, both days.
Shabby old carpet. the only thing that really let down the room (though the cost of getting the whole place re-carpeted would most likely put the prices up, so it was not an issue)
Windows looked out to a fence so I felt a bit hemmed in. would have been nice to see out front.
