Lovely comfy beds and nice breakfast .
Couldn't pay cash.
Great location, quality food, friendly staff, great service, good location for Crufts.
Bed was not to my liking. Mattress was soft, poor quality, felt like rolling into middle. Low to ground.
Skvelý personál a lokalita
Only a short drive to the NEC
We booked a family room, for 3 adults, there was a pop up single bed which was extremely uncomfortable, not what we expected. There was only 2 cups and 2 glasses..no bottles of water in the room. Not what we are used to at this hotel this year
Tolles Hotel im englischen Stil
Das Personal an der Rezeption war ziemlich unfreundlich - leider! Schade für das schöne Haus
Mooi hotel goed eten eigen bier
Weinig lokaal of Engels bier
Clean, easy to get to the NEC which was the purpose of our visit.
Breakfast order was placed in the door to then be lost by the staff. After waiting an hour we had to cancel and skip breakfast. Five year old didn’t like this.
We booked it on a Genius deal for only £73 as we were attending an event at the NEC. For the price, it was good quality. Easily accessible to the NEC and Birmingham but also near a really nice little village and walking distance to a great pub where we got dinner. The hotel itself is beautiful.
The check-in staff member barely spoke to us and gave the vibe that she couldn't be bothered with the process (we were the only ones there at the time too). The rooms are comfortable but a tiny bit dated and we were beside the parking lot so could really hear people when they were out at their cars. It was also clear that our bath tub hadn't been properly cleaned (hairs in it that weren't ours) but the room otherwise was clean. Value for money though really wins with this hotel as comparable hotels were significantly more expensive and the location was great.
Although it was a busy time as Crufts is on, the staff were friendly and efficient.
Nothing
The friendly welcome, the acknowledgement that I have been staying there for the last 15 years for Crufts so got early check in.
Nothing, I love this hotel
Nice ambiance overall great restaurant service but Trophy bar was closed which we were not informed about before our stay
Executive Room on 2nd March had no water in room which it should have had & was needed after a 6 hrs flight home from egypt.
We filled out pre check in form before our arrival back into uk & it included age verification in our 70s, on arrival at midnight we were put in room which could only be accesed by long curved stairs no lift to this part of the hotel carrying 2 large heavy suitcases only to find then had to open several fire doors along a very long corridor to a room furthest from reception & the car park.

Great location, dog friendly, lovely staff and super food!!
What’s not to like 😊

Location
Couldn’t get a table in restaurant for dinner.
Staff welcoming, friendly and efficient. Stayed in an accessible room which was perfect- spacious with large wet room and grab rails. Dinner in the Restaurant was delicious. Excellent value for money.
Breakfast served in the room was disappointing considering the quality of the food at dinner.
Access from the residents’ car park was a bit tricky but I had assistance from a very nice member of f staff when I left.
