Superb service and value
Pros:

Hosts were very friendly and accommodating - freed up a great parking space for us. The breakfast was delicious - loved the wilted spinach, mushrooms and potato scone on the vegetarian. Room was cosy and quiet with a lovely back garden view.

Cons:

Everything was excellent.

Nice stay in what I would class as a 3 star hotel in a quiet location. Staff were excellent, but property decor needs br
Pros:

Location was quiet and away from the potentially noisy city centre. Cleanliness was good and staff very attentive. Breakfast was good, but not exceptional.

Cons:

The property is in need of redecoration, the current decor is at least 20 years old and some things like window blinds and curtains were faded or discoloured. The hot sink tap in room 2 on 1st floor is a mere trickle and caused us to request a room change. We moved rooms without issue.

Felt like home — warm hosts and amazing breakfast!
Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at this family-run boutique hotel with truly warm hospitality! The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive — they kindly stored my luggage when I arrived early and even allowed me to stay longer to attend an online interview. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with a heater and excellent bathroom facilities, including strong water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was outstanding, freshly prepared with great care — you really feel how much love they put into this place. I’ll definitely come back!

L’esmorzar tenia una carta de menú amb 5 o 6 plats diferents, a part del bufet lliure. El personal maquíssim i encantador! El preu bastant bé i la habitació estava en molt bon estat. Repetirem segur.

Top Unterkunft mit schottischen Charme!!!
Pros:

Wie immer das super leckere Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal und sehr gute Busverbindung in die Stadt

Cons:

Wir sind schon mehrfach dort gewesen und leider wurde diesmal unser Zimmer nicht gereinigt. Kommen aber trotzdem wieder.

Beautiful property inside and out- ideally located for the city. Room was clean and tastefully decorated with generous bathroom and heating. Bar and breakfast room were both lovely.

Three French sisters
Pros:

Le personnel était extrêmement gentil, on les a adoré et ils vont nous manqués. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent et copieux ! L'emplacement était top (3 minutes à pied de l'arrêt de bus). Et le rapport qualité/prix était vraiment très bon.

Un petit cocon de douceur et de gentillesse à 2 pas du centre ville !
Pros:

Tout était absolument parfait : l'amabilité bienveillante et familiale du personnel, le confort de la chambre, le calme, le petit déjeuner exceptionnel et la situation à 2 min du bus puis 15min du centre.
