The Crown Hotel

The stay was perfect. Wonderful service. The staff were delightful. Breakfast was delicious & so was dinner. The room was spotlessly clean. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely places, very friendly staff, great breakfast.

The room and bathroom were large and the bed comfortable. The Toilet wasn't spotless when we arrived, which put me off. The bedside lamps were too small.

- property does not open until 3.30pm
- shower pressure was not very good (we were on the top floor)
- roomsnot soundproof. Couldn't hear the pub but could hear other guests at night

An excellent location for a walking weekend.
Check in from 3.30 only but there’s lovely walks from the village to keep you busy.

The room was comfortable and clean.
You cloud hear the owl in the woods at night it was such a peaceful location.
We had a wonderful evening meal, a little more than we might pay at home but it was beautifully cooked and value for money.
Breakfast was equally delicious. I had the superfood breakfast. Sourdough toast. Smoked salmon poached egg scattered with mixed seeds. Lovely.

The staff at The Crown were excellent. Not only giving really good service but so friendly and helpful with it.
The quality of the food both at breakfast and dinner was also very good with some great menu choices.
we shall be returning with our dog who also loved the hotel.

Good option for a stay in the area, especially on a Monday evening curry night was excellent, and great value.

Very welcoming staff, great location and super comfortable room

Service was great - in the hotel and restaurant and bar. Food was also lovely. Breakfast was also great. The rooms could have done with a bit of maintenance (wobbly bathroom shelf for example) and there was dust behind the bedside table when I plugged my phone in. Overall ok though.

Friendly welcome and good service. Well appointed room with comfy bed. Good choice at breakfast and an enjoyable evening meal. Would stay again if in the area.
