The setting and view and Fijian staff were very good. The bure was fine and bed was comfortable.
As soon as we arrived we were given a document we had to sign which set out the very heavy fines we would have to pay if we consumed any food or drink purchased outside the resort, also we had to keep all valuables secured at all times etc, etc. A very threatening and unwelcoming introduction to our stay. When we got to our bure we found that the room safe was out of order.
There were no chairs or table on our deck. Breakfast was included but the 'selection of tropical fruit' was extremely limited and any hot dish had to be purchased.
Lovely setting right on the beach.
Guests should be advised at the time of booking that they are not allowed to bring their own alcohol or food onto the premises. Lengthy forms to sign on checking in to comply with the rules. The outside verandahs of the bures including the most expensive ones don’t have tables and chairs to sit at to enjoy the ambience. Everything is designed to ensure you go up to the main area to spend money on food and drinks there
In such a beautiful locations. Views are amazing!
Nothing
We loved the true Fijian experience the Fijian staff make the place a truely authentic experience with there genuine kindness
The non disclosure about no drinks or food in our rooms eg snacks and duty free alcohol for us internationals without a car ..$200 fine per person per night for alcohol and $100 a night per person for food
Amazing area to be on the island, away from the everywhere but the waves. The access to kayaks were great (even if needed more paddles than available) the staff were amazing.
Snorkels didn’t work properly and there weren’t enough for amount of guests wanting them. So if you have your own bring them.
There were very limited options for dinner and quality did let the resort down (especially the prices- which we had to pay as there were no other restaurants). They could have maybe offered some of lunch menu options for dinner. Some small changes would go a long way especially within the grounds.
The location is very great 👍
Need to repair the road from the main road to the resort very bad
The views. The peace. The staff made an effort to cook my food gluten free . The fact that the resort is run by the village next door, and supporting local families
I’ve had the misfortune to be double charged for my stay here. I’ve rung the staff from my home country, and they are looking into sorting it out. This was after me turning up after a 2 1/4 hr drive from Nadi, to discover that they had lost my initial booking. They have a policy of bringing no outside food and drinks in, which I haven’t run into before. Being gluten free, I like to have a little “stash” of things I can eat as I’m aware not everyone caters for gluten free. It worked out ok in the end.
The retreat was stunning with beautiful seaviews. Our deluxe bura was clean and had an outside shower which was a gem. The restaurant food was delicious however there were no other choices so full board might be a good idea.
The activities were not well encouraged or adhere to so don't put hopes up. Also make sure to ask for rods on fishing trip.
L’emplacement, le lagon, la chambre
Certain membre du personnel pas très agréable
Amazing coral reef few steps away from your door, lovely staff, really nice and exciting village next door, of course with Kava ritual.
We went to Crusoe off season - so not a lot of people were there and it made it even more comfortable. They were very welcoming and even though it was quiet, there was a different program every single day (special shoutout to JJ- he was amazing). From Tours of their village to Table tournaments in the evening, you would feel very comfortable at all times.
The menu (lunch as well as dinner) was coming in big portions and was absolutely delicious.
Great Experience and is definitely worth it!
Would only recommend it!
The location is far away from everything. From the airport in Nadi it’s roughly 2 and a half hours. If you want to do any tours you would need to get to Nadi first. The hotel suggests a taxi for 230 dollars, which can become quite expensive if you are there for a longer time and want to see something else. There is no supermarket nearby and the bus stop is 4 kilometers away.
L accueil. Les chambres propres avec une vue imprenable sur l océan

Main road to hotel- not good if you done have a 4x4
Kept awake my first night from people opening my window louvers from outside my bure and banging on the walls. Horrible situation to be in informed resort staff only to be told it is locals and not to worry. The following day I informed I would be checking out due to the fact I felt my belongings were not safe in my room due too "locals" opening them all night and looking in. I had 3 more night booked with the resort and was told that if I checked out I would not get any compensation or refund. I continued to check out anyway and rebooked with another resort. Best decision ever!
